The most beautiful place and time so that it could be thoroughly enjoyed. Tour guides who were patient and knowledgeable. We’d go back and do it again any time if we could. This was so worth what we paid for it. Uluru is breathtaking!!

We were lucky enough to travel to Uluru in early June 2019. Sunrise was a very special time to see the rock as the colours change as the sun rises. Our tour to Kata Tjuta was great, our guide was very informative and gave us a lot of details about the area. Wherever you go around Uluru fly nets are needed if you want to avoid flies on your face. A MEMORY WE WILL NEVER FORGET.

We felt that the tour was too rushed for the sunrise at Uluru. It felt like a race to get to Kata Tjuta before the other coaches arrived. However, the walk through the Walpa gorge in Kata Tjuta was spectacular

It was well worth getting up at 4am to get to remarkable Uluru & see the “red rock” change to numerous colors as the sun rose & scattered across her surface. Remarkable, too, are the rock formations at Kata Tjuta. It’s hard to describe the beauty of these monuments or the desert or to give the spiritual meaning they have. Go & experience it for yourselves.

An absolute Must Do in Uluru. This was one one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had in my own country. Every Aussie needs to see Uluru as it is one stunningly beautiful monolith and the Viator tour gave us an opportunity to be up close and personal with “The Rock”. It was very well organised, the tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly and I would highly recommend it. Thanks Viator!

Thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Dave, our driver and Dillon, our guide were very informative, interesting and fun. Made our day.

  8. Lyn_G

Our guide Dillon was excellent which made the tour more enjoyable. The tour was not rushed, it was informative and an experience which I will value

  9. Penny_Q

Incredible view and super friendly staffs. I enjoyed everything about the tour! The walk wasn’t difficult and the view is definitely worth it.

Great experience, lovely tour guides but it’s a shame that customer service online and over the phone was terrible. We could not get a pick up time from Jerry Ray on Customer chat. They were rude and our email stated a 3 hour pick up window. He expected us to sit around for 3 hours???????

  11. Rosemary_C

The sunrise was magical. A sight to behold, strongly recommended. Breakfast was ………. After the Kings Canyon Rim Walk the previous day, the Kata Tjuta walk was a breeze. Thank you to Linde and Mimi

Our voucher stated that pickup time was at 5AM. We were ready at 4:45AM and there was no one. The AAT KING Operators didn’t even bother to inform front desk that they were there. They claimed to have been there at 4:35 but I doubt that because we were not the only ones who were not picked up. We are asking for refund but for now nothing is being done. There were two buses picking up tourists from the same company but both drivers said our pickup is on the way. Never came.

Enjoyed the sunrise at Ayers Rock and the changing of the rock colour. The Walpa gorge walk was a beautiful experience seeing the rock formation and which had a rich history.

  14. Renate_K

Our guide Connie from SEIT was very knowledgeable, organised and humorous. The children 10 and 13 years old called the tour “the best”.

  15. Monica_B

The tour had really nice timing for the sunrise and for the different viewpoints. Really good time management. You can see a lot and you have plenty of viewpoints.

After starting with a misty, overcast sunrise at the Ulura viewing area, we were a bit disappointed in our outing…not the glorious sunrise we had hoped for. Then came a most wonderful surprise as we arrived at Kata Tjuda! A gentle rain had brought waterfalls and beautiful silver “ribbons” coming down the rock formations, and wildflowers lined our walking path. Fresh, cool air made the hike and views wonderful and enjoyable. Four stars instead of five, as our guide was fairly new and did not provide as much background and info as we had hoped for. That said, the length and itinerary of this tour was just perfect for us.

We booked this trip and we’re given the wrong starting time. You had 5.00am start and the bus left at 4.45am for the tour. There were six people that booked with Viator and missed out on doing so due to misinformation

I don’t think it said anywhere that you had to buy a Nationsl Park pass to go on the tour. Lickily the hotel desk clerk knew and i bought the pass
I was surprised that we did not see the sun come up over Uluru, but rather it’s reflection off the rock as it came up behind us. Still beautiful.
Driver and guide personable and full of information- local history and geologic history.

The trip was very organized and punctual. They picked us up from the resort and then we had about 40 min in Uluru to view the sunrise. After the sunrise, we quickly made our way to Kata Tjuta for a hike. The weather was great the day we went so the hike actually felt short but I think in hotter weather it would have felt longer. The sites were beautiful and our guide actually showed us another viewing site before heading back to the hotel to view Kata Tjuta from the south side. There are a few minor items I would recommend they improve on: communicate a bit better before the trip, including exact pick up time (we were told exact pick up time a few weeks before but were told to email to confirm the day before); be clear about the exact itinerary and what time we’d be back at the resort. We picked our flight going out the next day because we didn’t want to miss the flight on the tour but it turns out they time their sunrise tour to make it in time to the airport shuttles; give more time in Uluru after the sunrise. I would be fine with the last viewing getting cut if we could get more time in Uluru. Overall, recommend this company (Debbie and Tracey were great)!
