Very unique experience learning about the history and culture of the old city. Tour guide was very knowledgeable, lunch was great, and all accommodations were top notch.

My guide Kittiya was very knowledgeable and helpful. I reserved as a solo and it ended up being a private tour with no other guests. Bang Pa-In (the Summer Palace) was lovely and the old Ayutthaya temples were fascinating, plus a nice lunch at local restaurant. Kittiya helped take many photos of me in these colorful surroundings.

What an amazing day. This tour was the highlight of our trip and it was thanks to the driver and our amazing guide. We started out at the summer palace and then to Ayutthaya. There was three temples we specifically wanted to see and she accommodated us perfectly. It was so amazing with her sharing her culture and the history we learnt so much and were impressed by the knowledge and passion. Any question we had was answered and she would tell us the stories and facts about the ruins and also Bangkok and Thailand in general. Honestly I could not recommend this enough. This is a once in a lifetime tour you must do and experience.

  4. Boaz_M

It was nice, mr. A and mr. T made it easy to travel through all the locations. The locations were ok but not that interstating.

  5. KimMon_T

The whole tour was very memorable, especially after the seeing the remains of the ruins dating back to the 13th century. Our guide Mr Sin is very knowledgeable and patient. So is our lady driver Ms. Kuan… A very good driver indeed.

How fortunate we were to have Lucky as our guide; she was so friendly and delightful. Her historical and cultural knowledge is amazing. We travelled in an extremely comfortable minibus with a great driver and air conditioning. Lucky knew exactly what to focus on at each stopping point that we visited. We had a fabulous lunch at a local Thai restaurant. We also had an additional stop in between site visits to taste some delicious local hand-made coconut ice-cream. We had a tremendous day which lived up to all our expectations. We would definitely recommend this trip.

Enjoyed the trip. Understanding guide’s English was often difficult so I’m sure many key points were missed.

  9. Dave_L

great trip very informative and great pictures. What made the trip was our guide. She was great and moved at our pace.

I’m a 100% Disabled Veteran. This tour had to much walking involved. Couldn’t enjoy myself. Operator nasty too.

  11. Regis_L

This tour was well organized. The driver and guide were very professional. We saw a lot of nice buildings

  12. Katie_D

We had an amazing tour and cannot recommend it enough. Jill was incredibly knowledgeable and taught us so much history, and got some amazing photos of us to boot! We took this tour as a part of our honeymoon and could not be happier. The lunch was amazing- make sure to try the spring rolls!

  13. Maite_H

The Tour was worth booking though the guide Maha was not too ambitious to guide us around…he rather tended to rush through the sites without taking time to enjoy the beautiful views from time to time. In case you were taking pictures he did not even wait for you to catch up.
But the sites we visited were very impressive.
Nevertheless Maha was polite but I experienced way better guides.

  14. Sunil_P

Great tour! Knowledgable guide, good driver and vehicle with AC. Just be aware that with the exception of the summer palace, almost all of what you see was built around 1950 in the likeness of the original ancient city that was completely destroyed. Temples and statues are made to look like ruins but are not authentic.

  15. Anthony_D

Amazing history and a truly brilliant guide. Full of highlights and our guide took good care of us on an extremely hot day.

  16. Patricia_M

Just seeing the scale of the temple sites was breathtaking. Historical perspective with wars with neighboring countries very interesting.

  17. Antonio_E

My favorite was seeing the sites while being educated by the tour guide. It was an amazing experience. Thank you so much.

  18. Penny_C

We loved the amazing array of buildings and architectural styles at Bang Pa-In Summer Palace. The magnificent landscaped gardens and ornamental lakes were also wonderful to see. The temples at Ayutthaya were incredible and fascinating, but the highlight of our tour was our guide Pui, who was friendly, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and also passionate about the history of her country.
Our driver Ae was also wonderful, and the car was exceptionally clean and comfortable.

  19. bmick1920

The guide was knowledgeable but talked too fast and too much. We would have just liked to have more time to ourselves to enjoy the sites. It was overpriced for what we experienced. Also, it was a new vehicle but the AC in the back seat did not work properly.

  20. elif_k

Out guide was wonderfull. We wanted to go local rest. For lunch. Place and food were amazing. Ayutthaya must seen. Summer Palace’s gardens were beatiful but can not entire the buildings is sad.
    Thank you..

  21. Gustavo_N

Our guide Andy was not only very kind but was happy to answer all our questions about Thailand and it’s history. Visiting these places on our would have taken much more time and effort and may not be possible in a single day trip from Bangkok

  22. Argeen_C

Noi was our Tour guide, she was very knowledgeable and very nice person. She went above and beyond of what she does. We had a great time, talking to her and her telling us about the history of the Temples we visited. We would definitely take another tour with her. Thank you

This tour is a nice short break from the hustle and bustle of noisy Bangkok. Ayutthaya is about 80 km from the capital, so it’s an easy trip. At the same time, though, it is far enough from Bangkok, and a foreign visitor can get a sense of Thailand countryside. The scenery is beautiful, and the temples are fascinating. My guide, Jill, is a knowledgeable person, and it was a pleasure listening to her very detailed explanations. At the same time, she was very tactful and knew exactly when I needed privacy and wanted to explore on my own. The driver was experienced and skilfully navigated Bangkok’s traffic jams; the car was air-conditioned. I would definitely recommend this tour.

  24. Caroline_U

My husband and I had a most wonderful day with Jill, our guide, who navigated us all day through different ruins and palaces. Jill is a very knowledgeable guide plus she has a sense of humour. The history of all the sights was very interesting and we highly recommend this tour. Wear very comfortable shoes and be prepared to sweat!

Overall, good experience. Compared to other full day tours I did in other countries, this tour ended much earlier (started right after 9:00 AM and I was back at my hotel around 2 or 3, if I remember correctly) but I think we covered all the sites listed on the iterinary. I thought lunch was included (per the written tour description) but my guide asked me to pay part of the meal cost. But my guide did not insist on it when I only had 1000 bills on me. I wonder whether was the non-alchoholic drink I ordered but no water was offered during lunch had I not ordered anything (don’t recall having a glass of water, but I could be misremembering). I was left a bit confused. There also appeared to be a subtle effort to lead me to shops at the entrance of each site for seveniours, which I did not have much interest in. When I handed the tip at the end of the tour, my guide made sure to check the amount at my presense, which was fine but a bit uncomfortable for me. I am still very glad I did the tour but the overall experience could be further improved.

Lucky, our guide, and A, our driver, were excellent. They were both prompt/ontime and Lucky is so knowledgeable. My only regret is not being able to book another tour with them or their tour company.

  27. Wendy_P

Private tour, professional, outstanding value, well organized, tremendous guide. Huge value added by the guide with the sharing of history etc. So many must-see sights. We loved the day!

  28. Mandy_A

Lucky was great! She really knew all the history. She was prepared with umbrellas and cold water. Taking a private tour is the way to go!!

  29. Mason_A

This tour was incredible all around. It was the only one we could find that took us up Ayutthaya and the bang pa-in palace in the same day and we loved being able to see it all thanks to our incredible guide!

Comfortable ride and easy acres to sites. Much of the summer palace buildings weren’t open to viewing possibly for maintenance of low season. So if that’s your main interest maybe not worth it. The guide was very knowledgeable and gave a lot more info than just the sites but history, customs, and all things Thai. They got us a couple of cold waters. Lunch was at a very average hotel buffet but the AC was welcome relief from the heat. Strangely while the meal was included in the cost of the excursion drinks weren’t even non alcoholic like bottled water and soda. If these are the sites you want to see a guide is well with it because there is very little info at the park.
