This was a misrepresentation of what you do which was very disappointing. You don’t really do any of the activities listed, you just get photos taken of you looking like you did.
You spend about 2 hours in a car dune bashing (being driven around the sand dunes like a rollercoaster) which was fun but also wears thin after a while. The guides were really great though and informative about Dubai. They also stop twice for photo opportunities, which is great if you like that sort of thing. They were very attentive and tried very hard to ensure we all got the perfect shots in the desert.
You then get 15 mins on the ATV/Quadbikes where you have to follow a guide around a loop. Again, there is a stop for photos and the guide makes sure he gets everyone’s pic for instagram. This was the most disappointing part as the advertisement makes it seem like you can do this for a lot longer.
Then you go for a ‘camel ride’ which is actually just: getting onto a camel, the camel stands up, it walks about 25 feet, there is a photoshoot, you walk back, the camel sit down and you get off. The whole thing was about 15 mins, and most of that was the guide taking photos of each couple on a camel. The guide takes a video of each of you and repeats the same script over and over so you all have the same thing and by the end you can quote it yourself.
The BBQ was decent enough for food (and free shisha) but was very long (another good 2.5 hours). The performers were good, but all of them looked like they wanted to be anywhere else but there – I don’t know if they do multiple shows a night but they all looked tired and bored and like they wanted to go home. It was hard to get a good mood from the crowd when the performers themselves aren’t in a good mood. I know it’s hard gig and I want to be sympathetic but it did really kill the mood.
Overall the experience is just for those who want to have cute pictures for your instagram that makes it LOOK like you did all these amazing things, without actually doing any of them. Save your money and book a proper ATV/quadbike or camel ride if you actually want to do it and not just have the photos.

Our guide was Mohamed who was absolutely fantastic in his experience in the desert driving and also local knowledge. This has been one of the best ever trips we’ve taken and it was all because of Mohamed. It’s a tour that must be booked and request for Mohamed.

Day 7 November me and my girlfriend went on a desert excursion led by Mohammed. He was very kind coming to pick us directly at the hotel that was about 30 minutes away and right from the start he was very friendly: he recommended us many places to go, and he also made us try the typical tea.
When we arrived he took us a lot of different photos and then we started the ride in a 4×4 through the sand dunes that was really adrenaline.
We took a ride on the camels and after also on the quads, so we could do everything there was to do in the desert at a very fair price.
Unfortunately, in the evening, we had to return to the hotel but our guide was kind to drive us before, even though it wasn’t the usual hours.
It was a wonderful experience especially because of Mohammed, which is a very nice person characterised by love and passion to do his job.
Absolutely an experience to recommend anyone!

John was out guide/driver and he was just professional and knowledgable. His driving skills were amazing but safe at the same time. We really enjoyed that he explained our whole day out from start to finish and when things had a minor change he would explain why. But in all we got to do all the activities listed. (Sand dunes in the SUV, camel ride, ATV ride, falcon pics, shisha, sunset pics, henna, performers, food) John was very patient and took the time to take all the pictures we wanted and even helped us when different videos/poses! The performers were just great and interactive with the crowd. Food was traditional and tasty. The Knight Tours was great and I would recommend 10000x

From the time we were picked up by our guide John at our hotel until the time he dropped us off we had an amazing time! John was awesome and the entire day was very well planned out by our guide and the entire team. We did some off roading in the vehicle, took scenic pictures which John was an expert iPhone photographer, camel rides, quad motorcycling and an amazing BBQ and shows in the evening.
