Train trip to Aswan
There are gaps in the itinerary. I like packed itineraries.
Train ride only includes AC chair seats.
I have paid $1000 but I don’t think it is worth more than $700-800.
Suggestions:
I will not take the same tour if I am going for a short time. I will take the river cruise tour and I will plan the rest of the trip by myself. River cruises start on specific weekdays only(Plan your trip based on that) .I will fly from Cairo to Aswan/Luxor and vice versa. Go shopping without the guides.

Everything was excellent. From our arrival we were met with a driver to take us to the hotel etc. The tours by Doa, Hosam and Mena were excellent and their knowledge really showed. The cruise was top class with excellent food. Would highly recommend

Great experience with a wonderful variety of adventures from Cairo to Aswan and back again. The pyramids were thrilling to see and to understand their evolution over the centuries. Sherif was an excellent tour guide. We rode the train to Luxor and caught the Nile River Cruise. Very nice experience with the shop, crew, and accomodations. Mohamed was our tour guide for tours along the Nile and was well informed and an excellent host and guide. I highly recommend him for his services. The hot air balloon ride at the Valley of the Kings was also an experience of a lifetime. Enjoyed our adventures in Egypt immensely.

We had wonderful guides during our tour – Doaa in Cairo and Mohamed Mamdouh El Khady on the cruise. They were both highly knowledgeable, personable, and attentive to all of our needs.
However, we were disappointed in the quality of the ship, the M/S Nile Sapphire. We were told that it was a 5-star ship. I would rate it as a 3-star. The food, however, was excellent and was truly 5-stars.

Wow. Airport transfers to hotel check-ins, car transfers to boat rides, late night train rides to early morning balloon rides! Everything was taken care of and I barely had to think at all!
I had a great time and learned so much about both the Ancient Egyptian and modern Egyptian cultures.
Rambo was amazing! He took us around the pyramids and Sphynx in Cairo.
Hesham, our driver for the day, actually stayed with us until the late hours, when there were minor train issues, and ensured I got on the correct train and into the correct carriage. Service 11/10.
When I arrived in Aswan to start my boat tour I met Mr. Ramsey, who is an absolute fountain of knowledge in so many aspects, but especially in Ancient History. Having him around the temples was amazing, because he can tell you so many intricate details, that I would never have known without him there.
Ramsey made the Nile Cruise and overall trip worthwhile, and I would highly recommend him as a tour guide to anyone looking to visit Egypt.
The Nile Cruise was incredible. The food was spectacular, the staff amazing and the fact that I was on the Nile made it all the better!
All I can say is keep your wits about you with the street vendors and tour shops! I’ve unwittingly spent quite a bit of money on this trip from persistent vendors that I haven’t been able to say no to.

Tour guides were brilliant, Rambo, Ramzy, Hesham really looked after us, were very informative and really kind.
The nile river cruise was amazing, boat was fantastic, all the excursions were fascinating to see.
Probably a few logistical hiccups that could be fine tuned, like spare time with no activities or accomodation so timings could be improved to avoid being stuck in limbo for too long.
But essentially all drivers and tour guides we encountered were really friendly people and very helpful.

Our tour guides were always punctual, informative, and kind. Sayyid and Rafi, who met us in Cairo were exceptional and very knowledgeable on the history of each excursion. Muhammad met us in Aswan and continued with us on the cruise to Luxor. He kept us well informed and was extremely knowledgeable in the rich history of Egypt. We were overwhelmed with the hospitality and welcome we received. We would definitely travel using Viator again.

I am giving a 1 star rating, because Viator cancelled my original booking, then chose to rebook the exact same tour, but for an additional $400. All I did was reach out regarding the pick up time, and they cancelled my original booking. It’s ridiculous to rebook the exact same tour that I had already booked, just to add $400 to the price, claiming the original booking price was “not updated” on the Viator website.
