I joined this tour on 31th/March. We stopped by lots of beautiful Lakes and Valleys. The weather was a bit changeable: it hailed a bit but after 5 mins, the sky was cleared up, which was good for us to know how the weather changes quickly in that area. The driver (If I remember correctly.. Jerry ??) was really knowledgeable and I enjoyed his detailed explanations about Beatrix Potter etc as well. Thank you very much for the amazing experience. I really enjoyed this tour!

Tony our driver was lovely, Kirkstone Pass was closed so the tour was shortened. The day was cold and snow showers but Tony still knew where to go to make the trip enjoyable. Sit in the front of the bus and you will have a great view especially if you get car sickness like me. I didn’t get car sick. There are also charging points in the bus.

I felt very lucky to pick and join the right you! Thank you guys so much for making my experience in the Lake District very memorable.

Great day out, saw some stunning lakes, hills, falls and scenery and LOTS of rain. Still, driver was great and we saw beautiful things and places and made a couple stops for great views and such. Would do it again.

This tour was fantastic. It’s an introductory course to the Lake District. Mark (our guide) really knew his local history and really made the whole experience extra special. This is a must do.

Tour was wonderful and at leisure. No hurried stops. Mark was a such good guide explaining the history and a peek into places that we visted. 5 stars for him

The tour was excellent and provided great opportunities to see the countryside and lakes. It covered a wide range of topics and was supplemented with funny and interesting anecdotes.
Our driver/guide, Mark, was excellent and had superb driving skills taking us through mountainous and narrow roads to access the scenery.
It provides a good overview of the lakes and local areas.it would be a good start for your visit.

The tour took us through beautiful scenery. The only issue was, that we could have stopped on the last part to see a bit more. Even the other bus came back 30 mins after us.

  14. Marlette_F

The driver/guide, Mark, was superb, didn’t miss a beat on information. The stops were long enough, just right. Especially enjoyed Castlerigg Stone Circle near Keswick…a must see.

We had a lovely day soaking up the beauty of the Lake District without the worries of driving ourselves on unfamiliar roads. Our guide was knowledgable and wanted to make sure we had a good time. There was no way that we could have seen and enjoyed all that we did, in a fashion that felt leisurely, if we tried to drive to the spots on the tour ourselves. The tour was worth every penny, and we thoroughly enjoyed our day.

We had a wonderful guide named Kevin who made every moment memorable. The scenery was beautiful! We loved the high mountains, and seeing the lambs frolicking. And we loved driving along the many lakes. The stop for gingerbread was just right.

Once on the bus we were told that there were a number of road closures that altered the tour. Roadwork expected the whole month of June. If your goal is to drive pass many lakes and villages, this tour is for you. I felt there was only minimal time off the bus to enjoy the sights. I don’t know how much the route change affected the tour, but we should have been notified beforehand and then decide if we wanted to continue on.

Graham was an exceptional driver and educator throughout the whole trip. He knew everything about the geography and history of the lake district area we drove through and gave us ample time to explore each stop. Thanks again Graham!

Seeing the wild cattle. The amazing views of the lake and learning that Peter rabbit 1 was filmed in windermere and that a shop window was used for part 2
