Donato was terrific! He was able to teach our 13. 10 and 7 year old girls and make the experience fun as well as educational. Our 10 yr old girl loved hearing the history of the colosseum as well as the forum. Donato is the best of the tour guides we’ve had on this trip!

Maria was excellent. Very engaging, knowledgeable and fun. And my kids (and the adults) absorbed so much information. Thank you Maria!

  3. Nicole_D

Our guide was very friendly and engaging toward the kids. We were able to hear stories and information about the colosseum and forum.

Our guide, Donato, was wonderful with the 5 children on the tour. He made sure to keep his commentary interactive and involved the kids every step of the way, bringing the history to their level and keeping It relevant and fun. Only hitch was extremely poor meeting instructions from the office on the confirmation receipt. I stressed for 25 minutes looking for the guide and called the office twice to understand where to meet him. It was worth it though as Donato was great. I also had no cash to give him a tip. I wrote to the office afterward to see if I could tip him using my credit card on file but I never heard back! In short, the office is terrible, but Donato was great. (Hoping he sees this and sends me his venmo info!)

The stories about the collisium were very intetesting, great idea to have kids compete against adults, they beat us big time! Group included a 12,10,8 and 5 year old. Great tour, very informative.

Excellent plan. Amazing guide, very kind. The kids were entertained the whole time. She explained everything in a great way, absolutely recommended if you are going with kids. Enough time ti visit the place and take great pictures. This was way more fun than the adults tour!!!

Excellent tour and guide with the family, (parents, 9 year old and grandma) plus another great family with 3 kids. Alessandra captivated us all and delivered a great day for a much anticipated tour of the colosseum and forum.

We had a fantastic time on this tour, and Simona was an awesome guide! She did such a great job engaging our kids (ages 7 & 10) with her fun scavenger hunt, but as parents we learned a ton too. We also appreciated all the detailed history of the Forum in addition to the Colosseum – we hadn’t expected that part to be as extensive as it was. Skipping the lines is great in and of itself, but an added bonus is also skipping fighting crowds to read all the signage once you’re inside – our guide took the place of that in a much more interesting way for all of us. Highly recommend!

Martina was amazing… she engaged my children and even called before your began… other tour guides do not call…. But Martina was amazing… will request her again.

Great for kids! Knowledgable and fun guide. We went in February with another couple and their kid and despite the business managed to keep it personalised and well paced.

  11. Martha_R

Martina was incredible and kept the full attention of our 6 year old during the whole tour. We fully recommend.

It was us and another family. Our tour guide, Guilia, was wonderful! Patient and informative. We were running late and the tour company was so helpful, communicative…above and beyond. Highly recommend. We were a family of 5 that included two teens and an 8y old.

  15. Jacob_I

Our guide, Donato, was fantastic! Kept our kids engaged and tought us so much about the history of the colloseum!

The guide was nothing short of amazing. The kids were engaged and curious throughout the whole tour and it was so easy to ask questions and have various conversations about topics of interest! Highly recommend this tour.

We loved our time with Donato! We went with our 6-year-old daughter and although shy at first, Donato was able to interact with her after a while. We really recommend this tour for families with children. Donato uses sounds and games with children and makes some mini breaks for these activities where children (and adults) get a chance to sit for a while. We got to see the most important parts and learn more about it all. Thanks, Donato!

Amazing kid friendly tour. Our guide was awesome! The content was kid friendly and we had a wonderful afternoon! This is a do not miss!!

Our guide, Alessandra, was knowledgeable, fun and engaging. She brought visual aides to help us picture what it was like in the colosseum in it’s hey day and had numerous fun facts to share with us. She took care to make sure we stayed hydrated and found shaded spots for us to stay cool. Our 11 year old had a great time and learned so much, as did his grandmother and parents!

I received the instructions ahead of time, but there was pivotal information missing. If you book this, try and get in contact with the organizer asap before standing out there lost! My confirmation showed that the tour guide was “Pinocchio Tours”, SO I looked for that name and asked around but no one had heard of it. I CALLED the number I was provided so many times AND sent multiple messages via Viator and no one ever answered. It was absolute mayhem in that specific area with all of the other tour companies. FINALLY someone called me and said they were waiting for me with a sign with my name on it, and it wasn’t even my correct name. Why wouldn’t they explain in the meetup instructions that someone would be holding a small piece of paper with my name on it???? We were ONLY looking for the tall poles that other tours held with their company names. Just EXTREMELY unorganized. We finally found our tour guide, but the tour just felt pretty rushed. I couldn’t take pictures at my leisure. I booked a kids tour because we had our 3 year old, but it was way too rushed. I think it should have been a slightly slower paced experience since it is meant for kids. Maybe it was so rushed because it took us 25 minutes just to find the guide. Not worth the money I spent.
