The museum is lovely, modern, and overall a wonderful experience- be prepared to spend the whole day of you want to see everything without rushing, though! The only problem I had was with the audioguides- sometimes, they didn’t quite function, and also some parts of the exhibition are made so that only one person can view it at a time, so I dometimes had to wait for quite some time to access some informational tablets when it was more crowded. But the view from the belvedere made up for all the waiting!

This museum was recommended to me by several people, and I entirely agree that it’s worth the time and money – all the better if you stroll down the river from downtown Bordeaux to get there. It’s very interactive and tech-heavy in accessing the various exhibits, so if that’s not for you, be warned. (This was the only negative review I heard from anyone who’s been.) But if you’re ready to use the provided virtual tour aspects and headset, there’s a ton to take in and learn from.

Everything in the museum is very interesting. The design of every exhibition is amazing, for adults and kids. There’s plenty of info about the story, the making and appearance of wine, but displayed in videos and interactive material.
The 360° terrace is also an interesting addition to the museum. You can enjoy the view while trying some wine.
