This tour was absolutely fantastic. The crew were all lovely and incredibly helpful and accommodating. There was plenty of time for snorkelling on the reef, at the two beautiful dive spots that we visited. There was also the option of a glass bottom boat tour, which was fantastic and so informative, our guide really knew his stuff so the entire family learned a lot about the huge amounts of wildlife we saw throughout the reef.
Those who struggled with swimming, depending on their ability level were given the option of being taken out snorkelling with a member of the crew and a flotation device. For stronger swimmers who were confident independently, they had the option of wearing a life jacket to ensure their safety and comfort while exploring the gorgeous Great Barrier Reef.
My family and I were even lucky enough to see a sea turtle swimming along the reef!
Lunch on board was so delicious, including a wide variety of food (I loved the fresh prawns!). The amazing crew also served an afternoon tea of fruit, cheese and crackers as well as slices of cake!
A big thank you to all of the crew for facilitating such a memorably positive experience!
All in all, for anyone wanting to visit the Great Barrier Reef, I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

The day on the reef was brilliant, with the staff offering a lot of activities. They went out of their way to personally assist children and anyone who needed assistance learning to snorkel. Amazing day!! I would 100% recommend this cruise to friends and family.
Fantastic customer to staff ratio and the staff were so so helpful. Food was fantastic, boat and equipment is great condition, and the bar was reasonably priced.
Our kids aged 5 and 8 had a wonderful time with staff helping us find Nemo and also keep an eye on the kids while we snorkelled. The glass bottom boat was really informative.

Three things:
the crew were extremely careful to check that every person had equipment that fit properly and safely, and people were always accounted for.
We explored the reef with Jayden. He pointed things out, dove down to illustrate further, towed us on a ring buoy, and helped us move through the current. Always with a smile. He was exceptional.
Weather was perfect.

We had a wonderful day on the GBR with the Ocean Freedom crew. They were friendly and very knowledgeable and really made the day fun. The food was lovely and there was plenty to eat. They had a bar with very reasonable prices.

Crew was great. This was not a small group excursion. But you will feel really personal with the crew. The ship was well staffed that no one was left out in the cold. Just stay on the bottom level of the ship when it is going fast. All was well organized. The food on the other hand was just okay. The shrimp on the boat didn’t seem very fresh. Chicken thighs was just okay. Salad was great. And the mini cakes was awesome. Especially, the carrot and chocolate cake. Enjoyed the fresh fruit. I only did snorkeling but I felt like was able to see a lot down under. Special thanks to all crew members. They were very accommodating.

I loved this tour. The staff was excellent. Jaz was my guide for diving which I hadn’t done in a year. She was very patience and helped refresh a few skills before we started. It was very windy and the tide was rough so visibility wasn’t the best but you can’t plan the weather. Food was excellent.
Four stars is because the boat itself I felt didn’t have enough adequate seating. And although many are returning to pre COVID attitudes… Which doesn’t bother me… Some people still like space.
