Suggestion: maybe you can let us choose where we would like to seat upon purchasing of ticket. Our table was inside the vessel but it defeats the purpose of this trip as we missed the beautiful night skyline of Bangkok

Overall, the boat was nice. It was a mess getting organized. We booked leaving from the Asia port but then a few hours before we were told it was all booked and then we were put on the iconsiam port. Very crowded. Free beer helped. The best is going to the top, if you can find space, and stand and watch

Sitting arrangement was perfect, the food and the wine was great and there was no dash or rush for the buffet like I experienced in August 2024 in one of the cruises(not white orchid). The warning to watch our heads over the low bridge was the climax. However the music was too western…there was no African music and little Indian or Thai music.

We booked this boat trip from the UK as we weren’t sure what would be available on New Year’s Eve and to make sure we had something planned. The boat departs from icon-Siam which is a new shopping mall full of designer shops and great food stalls. Finding the check in for the boat was manic as they have a concert on at the same time for new years so the place is packed. We found check in in the basement car park with all the people from many other boat trips. We were taken to the boat all at once quing past the concert which was cool. We sat on the roof deck as requested on booking and had a welcome drink. Food was a buffet with lots to eat. All fairly good and drinks turned out to be included. Wine and beer. There is a bar if you want to buy anything else about £10 for a whisky coke. Entertainment was average like an 80s wedding. Went up and down the river and saw Bangkok all lit up a good way to see it all. Then all the boats group together to watch the fireworks had a pretty good view. There were about four sets all going off in different directions. It then took us about an hour and a half to get off the boat. Waiting for all the other boats to disembark. I think this was just unlucky. All in this was a good way to spend New Years. Everything could just be a bit better. If booking again I would try a different boat.

If you’re considering this particular cruise, chances are very high that you will be extremely disappointed. Such a terrible experience – the staff was running around like headless chickens, no understanding of English at all, overcrowded areas. Ironically, the staff decides where you sit – I mean, where does that happen? When confronted, one of the staff members casually said that she has no understanding or knowledge of the policy regarding allocating seating space to customers. Sub-standard food – limited options and cold. Overall, an experience I would easily forget. Definitely not recommended

Nice to sit on the top deck to see the sights. However the food was bland and tasteless. I booked last minute and was seated on the lower deck of three, like bring in a 2nd rate restaurant in a gold fish bowl. Entertainment was ok. But a lovely boat and good staff.
There is no mention of where you will be seated when booking . For the money it was a nice evening after I demanded to be seated on the top deck which I was
