Otto was a superb tour guide. After an 8-hour tour with him, he felt like a lifelong friend. We enjoyed seeing his city, and learning everything there is to know about Chiang Mai. If you are weighing which tour to book, go ahead and book with him. You will be glad you did.

Otto showed up early in a very nice air conditioned SUV for our family of 3. We had nothing planned, and Otto made appropriate suggestions for us and we were able to e see the beautiful view of Chiang Mai from Doi Suthep and then do an elephant bathing experience with an authentic Thai lunch on the spur of the moment. he even took my to get his hair cut as we waited for our next activity! His English was good and he was friendly, knowledgeable and fun. I would definitely recommend Otto for a private day tour of Chiang Mai to anyone. It was a much better experience for our family than a group tour we took later in our trip in a different part of Thailand. Well worth the cost!

Easy communication with both the owner and with our driver, Mr Rung, via Whatsapp. Rung was on time, very polite and friendly, had great suggestions on the best order to see our requested attractions, as well as some other suggestion of nearby places. The van was huge and very clean, and could only be described as a ‘limousine van’, with very comfortable reclining seats. There were only two of us, but it could hold 9 guests. The best endorsement I could mention is that after spending the day with Mr Rung, we cancelled other plans to book him for another long day trip, and it was again an excellent experience!

We enjoyed using this driving service during our time in Chiang Mai. We requested to go to the Monk’s Trail, Doi Suthep, Wat Umong and Wat Phra That Doi Kham. It was nice to come back to a cool, air conditioned car after being in the heat. Cold water bottles were also provided. The driver communicated with us through WhatsApp and told us about the Flower Festival which was going on at the time. Well worth the money for the convenience!
