Yarra Valley Wine Tour with Local Harvest Tastings from Melbourne USD 120.96. Calling all tastebud explorers for a one-day perfect combo, of travel and taste, as we sample our way through the stunningly exquisite Yarra Valley. As we get to sip award-winning wines, be surrounded by spectacular landscapes and vineyard views.

Our day starts with chocolate tastings at the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice-Creamery. Guests will have the pleasure of visiting three boutique wineries and cellar-door estates. In some cases, our itinerary and winery stops will need to be modified due to unforeseen circumstances, such as group sizes, special events and cellar-door closures.

We’ve added free time in Healesville, for guests to grab lunch and explore the gateway town to the Yarra Valley. This tour has been designed for our guests to be able to see the Yarra Valley through local eyes rather than being shuttled from one winery to another.

This unique wine tour explores all the treasures of the Yarra Valley district in a relaxed small group environment of around 20 persons..

Loved this tour and would recommend to anyone who enjoys great wine, spirits, beer, and gourmet food. Started off by visiting a lovely green house that grew capsicums peppers and strawberries. After touring the greenhouses, we sampled a lovely platter of fresh strawberries, local cheese, pepper jellies amd spreads, plus strawberry Port, liquer, and cream. Fantastic! Next stop was a Chocolate and Ice Ceam shop. Huge bowls of chocolate greeted us and the products available to purchase was vast. From there we went to a lovely winery situated on top of a hill with a lovely view of the vineyards below. To our great delight there were wild kangaroos in the fields and all of us loved to watch them bound about while we sampled some fine wine. Also had our lunch here with scrumptious jumbo porcini tortellini or wood fired thin crust pizza. Delicious! Our next stop was Napoleon Brewery with ice cold cider and superb cold beers. After that another lovely vineyard in the hills. What a wonderful day and would highly recommend to anyone.

A great day out in the Yarra Valley led by the friendly and knowledgeable Simon Q. My partner and I took this tour as we were interested in more than just wine and it did not disappoint. We were lucky enough to sample not only some great wines but also ciders, beers, chocolate and strawberries which all were very tasty, and learn about the area. The only thing I could complain about was having to wake up so early but without doing so we wouldn’t have had time to enjoy the valley! Would recommend.

Very enjoyable day in the Yarra Valley. Excellent tour guide John. Great range of places visited. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed the day. Liked how there was more of a variety with the tour rather than 5 wine tastings. Each place had their own story which I always find the most interesting. Tour guide was really great as well. Threw in some fun facts, played some really great music, and gave some helpful tips when going into each of the locations. My two pieces of feedback would be to change up the last winery location (Hanrahan) not the most exciting and not a great a variety of wines to choose from. Lastly including the chocolate tasting as part of cost (it’s only $3).

A really good full day trip. Starting off at a local market garden which grew, made and sold a really wide range of delicious things to eat and drink, followed by a stop at a chocolate factory. After that we went to a brewery and tried their beers and ciders before going to the first of three vineyards where we had lunch and sampled some great wines. Our driver/guide Peter was incredibly knowledgeable, and made sure that he gave personal attention to everyone on the tour – this made it a really good, relaxed day out. Definitely recommended if you like good food, good beer and wine and good company.

the Yarra Valley Wine tour was well organised and great to have so many different experiences like the farm store and craft beer as well as the chocolates and wines . This was a our first trip to the Yarra Valley and we were very impressed. Our tour driver Peter was exceptional with his knowledge and personality and certainly made the day most enjoyable.

Really good tour. Could not fault anything. Driver Tim G turned up on time, gave commentary about where going and what to expect

  12. Elva_S

John, our guide, was really friendly. The group size was small due to COVID-19, so it was nice and intimate. Wasn’t too interested in the beer tasting, but everything else was good. Could have added another winery since we had some extra time. Would recommend to swap out the beer tasting with 1-2 other wineries. Overall, good experience!

Joined the tour in Oct to Yarra Valley, Tim was the guide who welcomed everyone on board the bus. He was engaging and shared great knowledge regarding the landmarks along the journey right from the pick up point to Yarra. The tour is unique for wine tasting, where the group was brought to multiple wineries to have a taste of the local produce, as well as to have some chocolate tasting. Overall a relaxing tour to go for.

It’s a beautiful green and quiet place to visit and lots of wine tests. If you like wine or chocolate you would love the tour.

A perfect day tour to explore Yarra valley and of course wine tasting. It covers visit to Yarra valley chocolaterie and icecreamary and 3 wine tastings.

  16. Olivia_S

The driver was lovely, the wine was delicious and so was the chocolate. Cannot recommend this tour enough. You will meet some incredible people too. For my first tour experience, it was amazing 🧡

Air-conditioned minibus picked us up at Ringwood Station and about 20 of us enjoyed visiting the Yarra Valley chocolaterie and having three wine tastings. Lunch was at Healesville and not included in the tour cost – this is the only drawback as the description was not fully clear about lunch. However the brewery in Healesville was a great place to have some beer tasting and pizza. Good communication from bus driver throughout the day and we are grateful to him for dropping us off closer to home rather than Ringwood. We visited St Hubert’s, Boat O’Craigo and Medhurst. Thank you to the tour company for a smoothly run lovely day out.

Fantastic day, couldn’t have asked for more! The wineries, wine tasting and views were incredible and our guide Madge was great! Would recommend this to anyone wanting to explore the Yarra Valley wineries 🙂

  19. SarahJane_T

Amazing trip, driver was very nice and knowledgeable, had an awesome time with friends, needed a cheese platter at one of the wineries though

  20. Bonnie_M

The tour guide was great, and the best part about the tour was that we got to stop between towns and visit multiple places we would not have known about otherwise!
Although lunch was not included, we stopped for breakfast and lunch
so there was opportunity to get breakfast and lunch.
I would highly recommend this tour!

The wines at Stephanie’s Estate was better than the rest. Wish the tour could have the option of wine pairing with food menus.
