Di was our tour guide, she told us a lot of stories and her passion for Kakadu was obvious. Di new our names off by heart and was the best tour guide I have had.
Dennis our skipper on the yellow river cruise was also very informative and made us all laugh with his sense of humor. It was a great day

  2. Connie_M

A small history lesson of ancient stories, art and a land full of wonder. An amazing experience hosted by knowledgeable guides.

Lagoon Cruise was awesome. Saw “Boofhead” the croc.
Bus Driver Mark was excellent. Very knowledgeable and lots of great info.

Fantastic 5 star day with Off Road Dreaming. Our guide Mike was full of information, kind, courteous and made a mean buffet lunch!
Nature never fails to deliver. The natural bush land was beautiful. Aboriginal rock art was a bonus and humbling.
The billabong/ river cruise was relaxing and croc sightings exciting.
We can’t recommend highly enough and have some amazing memories as well as lots of photos for when the memories fade!

The guides were very experienced and we had the opportunity to see lots of animals and plants. Additionally they shared the stories related to the land and the communities. Be ready for a big day with lots of things to do and see (but is worth it)

The commentary by tour guide Di was great, it was knowledgeable and informative. Her flexibilit to get my bird photo of the Jabiru was greatly appreciated. The boat trip was a little disappointing with not a lot of crocks (two ) or birds seen. The lunch was good.

  7. Mez

The rock art was fabulous especially when our tour guide Mike showed us how to look in more detail at the art.

  8. KEITH_B

The whole day was amazing. Mike our tour guide was so knowledgeable and he made the whole day so interesting. Just wish we had more time to spend there

What an amazing experience. Thank you Offroad Dreaming. For just 1 day, we got to see a lot and it did not feel rushed. The escarpments bordering Kakadu and Arnhem Land and the iconic wetland plains. The river cruise and cultural guide was well very well done. We were lucky enough to see a couple of crocs sunning themselves even though it was early May, Mike was an excellent guide, kept us engaged and fed us well. I would use this company again as it was well organised and ticked all the boxes with limited time

What an amazing experience, Kakadu is a beautiful part of Australia and so grateful it can never be touch. Everyone we met was lovely, from Dan (our super amazing tour guide), other travellers and traditional owners – warm and welcoming- we enjoyed listening to your stories and history.
Tip: one day is not enough

An amazing experience of culture, history, surrounded by the best country landscape. Dan was a great guide with lots of local knowledge about the aboriginal story paintings.

We knew we were in for a great day from the minute we were picked up by Deb at around 5:30 am to when we were dropped off at 7:00 pm. We were a small party of 8 and Deb outlined the plan of attack once we got out of Darwin CBD. Because of the size of the party, time saved allowed for more flexibility in the itinerary, allowing for additional stops at points of interest. This was our last of four tours we went on during our short stay in NT and by far the most relaxed, even though we walked and climbed more on this tour. Again there was another cruise along another river with the usual Crocs as escorting company. The tour guide Neville, that’s right Neville said with a double LL. is a proud Aboriginal and as he told us a “Sometime Actor” having appeared in several Top End films and Commercials for Visit NT. He spoke from the heart about his Country and His Supermarket, Pharmacy and Food Store.
There was not just one highlight throughout the whole tour you could say WOW that was fantastic. It was all WOW from start to finish.

Mike was a very informative and fun tour guide. We were so impressed with his knowledge and history. Hilton took us on our cruise up the river and shared “his people’s” knowledge of the land and water and he too was a very funny guy. The food throughout the day was amazing with yummy chicken and salad for lunch which was freshly prepared by Mike. The experience of being in Kakadu looking at the rock art and views was just amazing. All in all just an outstanding day.

The rock art exceeded my expectations and was truely remarkable. Our driver and guide was very knowledgable and made the trip more enjoyable. The boat trip on the Alligator river was amazing and the indigenous guide gave us a lot of information about the traditional use of plants growing on the river bank.

My son and I spent an amazing day in Kakadu with stunning landscapes and rock art. A wonderful guide called Deb who imparted so much of her knowledge gained from a real insight and genuine respect for aboriginal life and history. She also kept us entertained with various bits of information on the journey there and back and provided a wonderful lunch. If I was to choose out of the four trips we did in Northern territories Kakadu was definitely the best.

Amazing tour! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and respectful of aboriginal culture. It was a privilege to learn from Dan and Hilton. I would recommend to spend more than one day in Kakadu but if it’s the only option for you (like it was for us) this tour is the way to go!

  17. DONG_Z

Loved the beauty of nature. The indigenous art is amazing. Tour was very well organised. Our tour guide Mike is fantastic.

  18. Andrew_B

Our guide was very knowledgeable and made all feel welcome. Lunch was great and there was plenty of food.

The artwork at Kakadu and cruise down Alligator river with our guide Hilton was goodo.. I was disappointed that I had to pay for a national parks pass $53 after paying for the trip. Also disappointed that the area we stopped at wasn’t wear the brown/red dirt and swimming holes were
