Everything was great !
Bus was on time , guide and driver were amazing , gentle , open for questions !
We could refill our water bottle with the water from the bus.
The two park were really beautiful even with the rain !
Emu experience is definitely a nice local company to discover the rock ! It seems to be local and smaller than the big AATking who arrived with 4 coaches for the sunset.
I recommend EMU !! Even with rainy day it was remarkable!
Thanks again to the EMU team !

Bbq dinner at sunset was the highlight was brilliant . The rest of the day was too rushed 10 min stops

We were picked up at 05.50 from our hotel and after several pick ups transferred to a big coach. We stopped for a buffet style breakfast after 2.5hrs. At this place take your opportunity to buy a fly net to go over your head. You can thank me later!!
After visiting Kata Juta it’s on the cultural centre (expensive gift shop) here is the last chance you’ll have to get drinks for the rest of your extremely long day. The water from the tanks on the bus have a horrible tang.
Once at Ayers Rock you’ll get taken to some caves and have an another stop along the base before heading to the BBQ area. The food was excellent and what a view. It all comes to life when the sun starts to set and the colours are spectacular. As soon as the sun sets it’s back on the bus to return to your hotel.
Things to note for me were – omg the flies.
Lack of places to get water.
The bus while comfy, had very poor air con. We baked in the rear of it.
The speakers are virtually useless which is a shame as our guides were very informative.
The bus was on its last legs and we didn’t think the very noisy, jolting rear axle was going to get us back and it was almost 2am when we were dropped off.
This is not a trip for the feint hearted. We were on the go for 20 long hours.
That said, the experience of Uluru was priceless.

We were very impressed with knowledge of Federico a. Great meals. Pick-up and drop off was flawlessly. Truly enjoyed the new knowledge of Uluru and its surroundings and how is intertwined with the Aboriginal culture. Mist definitely recommend this tour.

Excellent experience. Sunset dinner was such a highlight! Rainbow next to uluru right at sunset, what can be better than that?

Seeing Uluru was amazing! Also interesting to do the walks along the base and listen to the stories. Very hot and lots of flies so a fly net helps and make sure you drink something cold whenever you can

After a long day with intermittent rain, we were rewarded with a rainbow over Uluru at sunset!
Appreciated vegetarian options available at all meals.

Fantastic day trip from Alice Springs to Uluru. Started early and ended very late but enjoyed every minute and saw different sights like Kata Tjuta, Uluru and learnt about Aboriginal culture. Ended with a sumptuous sunset BBQ. Thanks Miguel for driving us safely.

A long but fantastic day out, well looked after and the sunset BBQ was amazing. A must do if you visit Alice Springs.

Uluru itself is fantastic. Tour was disappointing. Not much room on the bus.
The seats on the bus are uncomfortable over such a long trip. The BBQ dinner was great but the lunch wrap was pretty basic.

My husband and myself have enjoyed this tour very much with unique and picturesque scenery of Oluru and Kata Tjuta.
Our tour guide Bob is very nice, professional and resourceful.

So much packed into one day – simply fantastic. Friendly, knowledgeable guides/drivers. Comfortable bus though aircon set a bit cold for this Queenslander

How can they live in the desert? I searched shadow all the time and was happy it is autumn. I felt very vulnerable.
It was a great experience, beauty and feeling the essence of live

I had read that Emu Run ran a good tour but I was disappointed. My tour date was 4/26. Our tour guide Bob (or maybe the driver told me that’s his name as he knew I was going to give a bad review) did the bare minimum and had no enthusiasm.
He didn’t have any interesting stories and it felt like he read off a script. For one of the indigenous stories he started telling us, he didn’t tell us the ending and told us to google the ending! Some of the stops were ridiculously short – he gave us 15 minutes to experience the entire indigenous cultural center which I was flabbergasted at. They could have easily canceled one bathroom break and given us atleast 30-40 minutes at the cultural center which had a bathroom. The veggie burgers for vegetarians was cooked on the same grill almost touching meat which was really gross for a vegetarian likely myself to witness. So I didnt eat any of the sunset bbq.
A good tour guide can make or break your experience. Uluru was beautiful but all I can remember of it is the bad tour guide. If I could do it over, I would pick a different tour group or have done a private tour.

A long day and parts were a little rushed. Tour guides were informative, Anna in particular was personable and knowledgeable. BBQ dinner was good and the sunset over Uluru was spectacular to see! Recommend eating breakfast before or bringing something along to eat in the bus. Plenty of toilet stops and water refills available.

Great experience and well organised and friendly staff. It is a long journey to ULARU and KATA TJATA but it sure was worth the travelling required.
We had cloud all day with a little drizzle which meant that the John Williamson’s song
“It’s Raining On The Rock ” would have suited the day. Good tucker at the BBQ at the Rock and
the SUN popped through the cloud for 15 minutes so we got some fabulous photos, at last.

We’ve been touring NZ and Australia for the last 3 weeks and still have another week to go. The day trip to Uluru was just perfect. We were picked up from our hotel at 6:30 am. The drive through the bushland was long but there were stops for breakfast and lunch. Our driver was very skilled and left us in the care of another driver and guide at Yulara. The sandstone formations at Uluru and Kata Tjuta are stunning and completely took our breath away. The tour operator was Emu Run Experiences and they rounded the evening off with a wonderful BBQ with plenty of fresh salads and drinks right st the spot from where we could see the rocks of Uluru absorb the rays of the setting sun and change color to an amazing burnt red.
This was a spectacular experience which I’d recommend very highly.

Explanations of the rock formations. Did not think it was worth the money or the long drive of 6 hours each way. Too much rushing off and on the bus. Literally not enough time to stand in line to go to the bathroom and get a coffee.

BBQ by sunset in the shadows of Uluru was miraculous! Buss drivers were fun and informative Long bus rides but well worth it!

The tour guide Yab Brar was absolutely fabulous. He knew all the legends and their names and explained just about every mark on the rock. I was very impressed with his knowledge as well as Charlie the other driver who was absolutely lovely. The barbecue was very well done and delicious
