Beautiful views. The lumberjack show is very entertaining. It’s funny how the bears came out right about when the lumberjack show ended.

Beautiful place. Kids enjoyed. So much to see. Chair lift is superb. Must see when in vancouver. Love to see it again during winter.

The reason I didn’t rate Viator a higher rating is that it was a pain to access the tickets. When we were at Grouse Mountain, the first thing we did was to stop at the customer service center to get the ticket. The worker there told us just go to the tram station and let the worker scan the Viator QR code.
When the tram arrived, the worker told us that we needed to go back to the custom service center to get a ticket. We almost missed our tram as it doesn’t run that often. It was not a good experience and I doubt that I would buy tickets from Viator again.

The Viator price provides NO SAVINGS compared to buying tickets in person at the ticket office.
AND, purchasing ahead via Viator means you WILL still wait in line at the ticket office to exchange the receipt for tickets. I waited for 20 minutes.
Either way, it is such an over-priced destination.

Brilliant day! The free bus from Canada Place was easy. Variety of things to do at the Mountain. Well worth the visit.

Unfortunately the views were hidden by smoke. Still a worthwhile trip. The gondola ride and chairlift to the peak were awesome as were the shows.

We had an awesome day. Great displays, shows, people, attractions, and catering. The views were spectacular, even through the current wildfire haze. The Lumberjack show was entertaining and also very clever. The Raptor display was amazing and informative. What beautiful birds. The enormous carvings were all so well created. A place well worth a visit.

We were very surprised by how big this area is and how much there was to see! We thought we would spend a couple of hours here but ended up staying for almost five! We enjoyed seeing the bears, the lumberjack show and the birds in motion show. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed Grouse Mountain very much.

I gave this excursion 4 stars for a couple of reasons. First, we chose this trip because we are thrill-seekers and thought it would be fun to ride on top of the Gondola, which is an option on good weather days. This was not, unfortunately, a good weather day. (See pictures.) At the top of the mountain are scheduled shows for birds of prey (and other shows) along with a bear enclosure. For us, it was not a trip we would repeat, however, it would be fun for kids who are interested in wildlife. The gondola ride is beautiful, but that alone is not worth the time and money for us.

Views from top of the mountain were breathtaking! The lumberjack show was also a amazing watch and to see the bears up close was truly fantastic

If you go on a sunny day the view of Vancouver from Grouse Mountain is spectacular. If you go early there’s a good chance you won’t be packed in like sardines into the skyline. The breathtaking view makes up for that. There’s a cafe if you want to have something to eat as well as other activities to take part in. It was so easy to get to Grouse Mountain without a car. We purchased an all day pass at Waterfront Station, then caught the SeaBus from Waterfront Station to Lonsdale Quay and then straight onto the #236 bus that goes all the way to Grouse Mountain and you return the same way afterwards. Nice and easy and relaxing.

The pictures of the ride to the top of the mountain are misleading. I was appalled that the workers were required to get a specific number of people on the ride prior to releasing it to the top. I’m not sure how else to get to the top of the mountain but there wasn’t a lot going on at the top of the mountain besides the lumberjack show that was nice. It was nice to say I was at the top of the mountain but I wouldn’t go back if I had a chance. There are far better places to go and spend your money if you are looking to get breathe taking views of Vancouver.

grizzly bears, spectacular views and good weather, not too crowded on the grounds, happy families sharing the experience

I wasn’t thrilled this time going up onto Grouse Mountain. I went there about two years ago and enjoyed myself much more, probably because there were more activities to do. I was told that since snow had fallen recently (my trip was in late October), most of the activities had ended. Also, there was just enough snow to make the slopes up and down (I walked up to the end of the ski lifts , also closed down, and back down to the gondola station) slippery and icy in parts. I even fell down once, and luckily, a nice guy helped me up ! The only real thing to do was to look at the two grizzly bears go in and out of their cages.

we are a group of friends travelling and it was an awesome experience to reach the grouse mountain with snow and to be able to ride the gondola to reach the top. It was fairly easy to get there and buying the tickets in advance thru Viator is recommended.

It was beautiful, we saw bears in a caged habit eating a big halibut fish, a cute owl named Oden, the views were breathtaking. And you save $$$ going with Viator. Just go inside guest services and give them your ticket or in your phone. They will print you your souvenirs tickets.

Nice experience. We loved the snow walk and the skyride. The souvenir store is beautiful and we arrived in public transportation
