This trip lived up to its expectations. Great staff, vert tasty quality food, good planning and timings, beautiful scenery. The guides do the paddling for you and are very attentive and friendly. Min our guide looked after us really well and took plenty of photos for us. This company is eco conscious and so are the crew who all respected the surrounding nature. It was a good day as we saw many monkeys and plenty of soaring sea eagles and hornbills as well as jumping fish. A fantastic day out.

The trip was spectacular. We were able to see parts of the island that most people don’t see. Going through the sea caves and coming out at incredible lagoons. Each kayak had a guide and we never felt rushed. The floating Krathrong ceremony was unique and beautiful. The food and selections was delicious

Went on March 5th, 2024. We had hotel transfer to/from and it was much appreciated. The tour was amazing and we had the best guide TOY!!! A big group goes on a speedboat, but each couple is randomly matched with a guide who will kayak for you while you sit back relax and take pics. It was beautiful in the lagoons, seeing all the sea creatures, and EATING THE BEST FOOD WE HAD WHILE IN THAILAND. Man those ladies can cook!!! It was such a special memory making the Loy Kathrongs. Awesome to have a cultural piece added to a water activity. But the icing on the cake was the BIOLUMINESCENT PLANKTON!!! It was such a good tour and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

We went out 3 times on the kayak and got to see some amazing scenery and wildlife, including monkeys in a tree above us and the glowing plankton at night. The captains and very friendly and knowledgeable. You get to watch and join in the crafting of the flower offering which you drop in the water at night. You also get to paddle yourself if you want and the food was also excellent.

A very well organized tour indeed. Started with great communication of pickup times and place. The driver was sharply on time, and not much wait through the whole experience. The team was super friendly, everyone speaking good English. Nice and clean boat. Got to see lovely lagoons, glowing plankton and also got free time for swimming/paddling. Delicious food and plenty of drinking water supplied throughout the day. Highly recommend!

One of the James Bond movies filmed on 1 of the 132 islands in Phuket, so it’s a tourist attraction for kayakers and tour boats. We did the kayaking all day tour. What an amazing experience, and very happy we chose John Gray experience. The boat ride out is an hour out to the first island, so amazing views and ocean breeze. They first had their guide kayak all of us out through the caves and lagoons, but after awhile we got to get our own kayaks. We went through two islands of caves and lagoons.
Then they taught us how to make kietongs, a float offering to thank the ocean and give it respect. It is made out of banana tree bark,banana leaves, orchids, merugolds, other flowers, candles & incense.
At sunset We took our 3rd kayak adventure to a cave, lit our kietongs and made a wish for the sea.
Lunch & dinner was all homemade Thai food on the boat.

Loved the experience! we went on this experience to celebrate one of our friends 40th Birthday, the tour operator was so kind enough to provide us a complimentary cake to celebrate her Birthday during sunset. Food was amazing and all canoe guide on each canoe were so lovely and careful. They gave us a personal experience which we can never forget. Very safe and they take care of you. we had sudden rain which no one expected it was also an experience to see misty clouds and rain in the middle of the sea. Making of the Krathong was fun and beautiful to float at night. Dont miss it we were 6 off on a girls getaway trip from Australia and enjoyed every bit of it!

Wonderful day exploring the local islands and sea caves. The staff were on time, professional, and fun. Don was a great guide and we had a very personalized experience. We enjoyed being on the water and the sunset was gorgeous! The Loy Krathong “festival” was very unique and special. We saw bats and plankton that lit up at night. Overall, a great experience!

We got picked up at our resort and had a one hour drive to Thalang-Pa Khlok, where we boarded our boat at 1pm for the day at Ao Por Pier. We went on a day/night kayaking tour to Ao Phang Nga National Park. We relaxed while our tour guides paddled us in and around several caves. The views were spectacular and it was very peaceful. We also enjoyed a beautiful traditional Thai lunch and dinner. Then we all made Krathongs with our guides and let them go after sunset in the cave and made a wish. This was one of the best tours we’ve been on in Thailand. We definitely highly recommend this tour.

Was wonderful. We debated to go to Phi Phi island or the Pang Nga Bay. Glad we choose the later. John Gray seemed to be the most eco driven tour and that was what made the choice for us. Our guide was brillant. I have some issues with sitting without back support so was initially uncomfortable in the canoe, however Rahod our guide took action and fashioned a back rest for me from life jackets. Made the conoe experience perfect. He also took us away from the main group to see some extra things, Most appreciated. Can not recommend this tour enough.

We absolutely loved everything about this experience. The day was planned perfectly. The crew takes care of everything and you get to sit back and relax and really enjoy how incredible and magical Thailand really is. I would HIGHLY recommend this trip it is well worth the money and you will come away with incredible memories ( and photos)/

This was the best boat tour experience I have had.
First of all this is a great tour basis what all is covered. The boat was clean and well maintained. Very good food spread for all meals. Additional beverages on board were reasonably prized.
Icing on the cake: amazing staff which made the trip comfortable and fun for everyone on board.
