The Corroboree tour was Amazing
Our tour guide Evan was extremely friendly, thoughtful and made everyone feel comfortable. We saw amazing crocs, birds and the cruise through the wetlands was a time to remember.
I tried to upload some photos I took ( AMAZING) but it wouldn’t download them.
I will keep trying
Thanks Evan you made the trip a memorable experience

This was a fantastic tour. Our guide Evan was very knowledgeable and friendly and entertained us with jokes. The wildlife in the billabong was amazing. I have so many good photos. Evan went out of his way to find and point out wildlife. I highly recommend this tour.
Lee_B –
Kudos to Evan our bus driver, guide, waiter, horticulturist, ornithologist, botanist, comedian and generally a fantastic guy. He was so informative and interesting in explaining Aboriginal culture, bird and crocodile habits and lunch on the boat was great. Highly recommend this tour to EVERYONE!
Lucia_D –
Our wetlands tour guide, Evan, was so knowledgeable of flora, and fauna. He made this experience memorable.
Stephen_V –
Our guide Evan was fantastic, knowledgeable and very entertaining. The cruise itself was great with a lot to see.
Tatiana_S –
I thought the tour was really well organised from the beginning to the end (i.e. communication with regards to pick up time and location). Evan is a brilliant guide with his humorous commentaries on local quirks and wildlife. It was humbling (probably not the right word, but I felt humbled) to see birds and crocodiles just going about their business almost unencumbered by us. Evan was really good at spotting birds and describing their behaviour. The only thing I was expected to see was larger quantities (flocks and flocks) of birds, but this is out of control of the tour guide (we are living in a 21st century after all).

A great day out. Tour guide Evan is informative, highly knowledgeable of the area and very personable.
Kim_B –
Evan, my tour guide, shared knowledge and stories of the top end throughout the day, making for a very enjoyable trip. The billabong experience was amazing, with Evan guiding the boat to ensure everyone on the boat saw the wildlife and got great photos. Highlight of my trip.
Peter_M –
A great day trip with hotel pickup. Evan tour leader and driver was the best.
Lots of knowledge of the wetlands and history.
Christopher_C –
Great day out, Evan our guide was fantastic what he didn’t know about fauna, bird life, animals, aboriginal culture wasn’t worth knowing, cruise on the billabong was a magical experience. Overall a enlightening experience and highly recommended.
Susan_K –
Evan, our tour guide and bus driver, was very professional, had lots of knowledge, which he shared in a entertaining way.
Lunch was good.
The birds at the Corroborree Billabong were the highlight of the day.
A great day out.
Kim_O –
Evan was a superb guide, very knowledgeable, considerate and with a great sense of humour.
The tour was fascinating with lots of wildlife, numerous birds, a couple of crocs and even a buffalo at the edge of the billabong
David_B –
Evan was a great guide who was very knowledgeable about the environment and the fauna and flora we were seeing. We saw what we expected to see, much of it close up. Excellent lunch.
Wendy_B –
Loved seeing animals and birds in their natural environment (not performing for reward).
Information given on the relaxing tour through the wetlands was responsive to the sights and sounds around us.
Clinton_M –
Even was a great host and very informative. The day spent on the billabong taking in all the sights and sounds of nature was incredible.

This was another tour where it had a WOW factor from start to finish, with plenty of stops along the journey to cover an array interests. The WWII War Graves was interesting and the Billabong cruise was tranquil and also mind blowing in its size. (Dry Season). During the wet it becomes the size of an small inland sea. This was our second water cruise and again there were plenty of Crocs in their natural environment, but this time not needing to be fed like the Jumping Crocs; to display how big and dangerous they are. The abundant bird life kept the Twitches active with their cameras and were told that the best time of the year for Twitches is August – September when the billabong is full of birdlife.

When I read the reviews for this tour I was hoping that Evan would be our tour guide. He was…and I can see why he consistently received glowing accolades from reviewers. He is a veritable font of information ranging from the bombing of Darwin to the mating habits of the brolga and the differences between a freshwater & saltwater crocodile. He has lived in Darwin for twelve years hailing from Sydney but listening to him you would be forgiven for thinking he was a native of Darwin. The bird and wildlife you will experience on this tour in a few hours is an eye opener- accompanied by an expert commentary from Evan. The only way to understand how good this tour is is to go on it…but please ensure Evan is your guide. Pick up from the hotel was prompt & the tour boasts great value for money. Other reviewers also rate the healthy & generous lunch provided – I couldn’t agree more ( and eaten whilst moored next to a huge sleeping crocodile)
DONG_Z –
I enjoyed watching birds and crocodiles while we were cruising in the water. Most of the time we were too far from the animals therefore I couldn’t see them clearly.
Jillian_G –
This was my favourite trip by far. Our tour guide Evan was a wealth of knowledge, and clearly passionate. The trip was never dull, and lots of laughs. Couldn’t recommend it enough.
Jeffrey_T –
I am so glad that we had time to do this while in Darwin. Our guide Evan made everything super easy with door-to-door service and a stop at the pub. He was also funny and super knowledgeable about all of the wildlife in the billabong and was a great croc spotter! I mainly went to see saltwater crocs which I saw plenty of but was blown away by how beautiful the billabong ecosystem was!
Melissa_D –
Evan our guide was amazing. Very helpful, very friendly came to your face and talked which was good. Nice lunch and excellent commentary. Could not fault him or this cruise because the place was amazing.
