We had a great time on our night tour of the monuments. Our guide and driver were fantasitc.
However, we also added on the Washington Monument tour. It was not very clear that this was not included in the night time tour. You get a ticket to return the next day. These tickets are free or $1 online if you purchase with the Washington Monument. We were charged $20. Don’t do it. The NPS agent said that these outfits are not supposed to charge for these tickets.

I’ve never been to DC. Had a work trip, and some free time. Decided it might be good to see the sights.
When I read it was a “bus tour”, I thought I would be sitting in a bus seeing the sights. That’s not the case at all. The bus takes you to locations, and the entire time you’re in the bus, you’re learning all kinds of interesting and exciting things.
Once at the site, there’s time to walk around and soak in some history.
I thought 3 hours would be too long. While I was well worn out from all the sights, it was well worth the time and effort. I’m so glad I went!

Enjoyed seeing all the sights at night. It was a great way to see many things in one night. Tyrone, the tour guide, was amazing!! Unfortunately, the bus smelled strongly of sulfur that never went away, and the bus was stuffy and hot for the first hour of the tour (85 degrees outside). Several of us started feeling sick from the smell and heat. The complimentary bottled water that was advertised was not available the whole tour. They had run out after only a few people had boarded the bus.

The tour was excellent! We traveled around to all of the major monuments and they were absolutely beautiful lit up at night. Our favorite was the Lincoln Memorial. It was a awesome sight. The Washington Monumnent reflecting in the Reflection Pond opposite of the Lincoln Memorial was absolutely beatufilful. Our tour guide Tyrone was a wealth of interesting information and funny as well. We really enjoyed his presentation and personality. Our bus driver Chuck took good care of us and got us everywhere we needed to be safely. Would highly recommend this tour!
