From the rainy start at Warwick castle to the pleasant tour of Shakespeare’s home, enjoying hot pastries around the town to the wonderfully informative walking tour and the magnificent buildings in Oxford and the cotswolds… everything was delightful!

There is no alternative to enjoying trips alone, away from groups, away from tourists! But, when that is not possible and one needs to live with the annoyance of not being able to spend time doing things one likes, such as, just may be pop into a shop or something, then this tour would be near the top. You will spend most of your time experiencing first hand what hounds experienced chasing after harts, only the hart if you catch it will turn out to be very knowledgeable about history, books, and … and films!

Katya (sp?) and Sean were excellent. Katya was extremely knowledgeable and personable, explaining rather complex historical facts in a fun and informative way. She made sure we understood timings as well as made excellent recommendations on how best to spend our time. Sean did a wonderful job negotiating traffic, and we were appreciative of the extra drop off point at Gloucester Rd. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately, our trip was canceled due to not enough people. We showed up at the tour along with the others unaware. The board still showed the tour.
Therefore, I can’t truly give a rating. We did however get a refund. I have no doubt it would have been a great trip.

It was surreal seeing the house where Shakespeare was born and lived the early years of his life.
Warwick Castle was amazing with a rich collection of memorabilia and a colourful history of its aristocratic occupants up to all their mischief with their rich inheritance.

Our Guide for this tour Andrew was very knowlegable of everytinbg were were going to see on this full day trip. keep the people ingaged. that this long day ended to soon.It was a pleasant suprise. to find out the next day on our trip to Windsor Castle Andrew was our tour guide again even though it was a diffrent Tour company We had to great days learning all about England
