We booked a late morning tour as my daughter always had a hard time getting up early. The hotel pickup was a little anxious as we didn’t know they were communicating through WhatsApp as we normally don’t use in US. But after pickup all were very good. We were transported in a clean private sedan that followed along. Our guide Nour can speak both English and Chinese and was knowledgeable. She knows quite a few photo tricks and left us with some very interesting and memorable travel photos. The entrance into the pyramid was not included but worth the extra to take a peak inside.
We were a little surprised and disappointed that the tour included stops at a papyrus shop and an incense oil shop. However we did learn how papyrus papers were made. The included restaurant lunch turned out to be gyros sandwiches, which were delicious, we ate at the oil shop while listening the sales.

Sam’s historical knowledge about the pyramids and Giza takes you back in time. He is also a certified Egyptologist, and has a depth of information about hieroglyphics and the ancient civilizations. Beyond his knowledge of the historical sites, Sam is a warm and welcoming guide. He truly makes you feel safe and like you are with family. Sam took super good care of my wife and I. We only have one regret, we wish we could have done one more day tour with Sam before leaving Egypt. By far the best tour guide ever! We definitely hope to return to Egypt and most definitely will do another tour with Sam. Thank you for a truly unforgettable experience in Cairo! Make sure you request to book with Sam.

It was so fan to ride camel at the second day after arriving Cairo. There is no way for the first tourists in Cairo to go these Pyramids and camel ride by themselves. No way for foreigners to drive in Cairo. I strongly recommend to find good tour with a guide. I was very lucky to find this tour and Mimi as our guide.

Great organization and punctuality. Our tour guide made sure we saw what we wanted and were at ease all the time. For instance: we wanted to spend longer with the camels and he was fine waiting for us and adapting the schedule. We really enjoyed the tour.

You can very easily get the same experience for 80 dollars or 35 dollars in a group. The lunch was picked up from a road side restaurant and smelling bad when served . The Guide had no real knowledge and was only trying to find spots to take pictures . Entry fees to pyramids not included

let’s explore Egypt with a private tour around the pyramid : they pick you up at your place and drive you to the pyramid – cost 119€ – pros : transportation, lunch, 1 bottle of water ,camel drive included, driver and guide are very kind and friendly – cons : after staying around the pyramid for kind of an hour, you make a camel drive which is very short (less than 15 minute) – even walking around the pyramids or from one another was not possible, you have to be in the car – after the short camel tour, you go shopping where you can find very good stuff for souvenirs, even though it is very expensive. In overall, you pass more time to do shopping than seeing the pyramids. The price paid is so much for Egypt compared to the visit done + you need to add the tips. I felt more I was needed to put my hand in my wallet than visiting the Pyramids.

Definitely recommend the tour to anyone, it was a nice experience, visited the pyraminds and the Sphynx, ride of camels, the lunch was very nice and also the have options that you can order on the fly – entrance to the Heops pyramid and ride of 4wd bikes after the lunch, so if you’d like even more fun ask for these.
Just a note that the entrance to the pyramid is not so easy, some old people were there I guess without knowing what to expect and they were in their limits and visually looking like almost dying so be careful and skip the entrance if you are not in a good health condition. 🙂

The package included what we required when travelling with kids (it did not include entering in the pyramids). The guide, Mr. Nasser, was fantastic. He gave us a lot of information on the pyramids, the whole site and how the site was organised in relation to the burial process for the pharaohs. The short camel ride was fun. The driver, Mr. Badr, was really good, driving carefully in a city where driving is a real challenge. They were on time to pick us up, extremely helpful, engaging and polite. Thanks a lot for a lovely day.

It is important to visit the Pyramids and Sphinx with the assistance of a tour guide who has some knowledge of the history. It adds value to the experience. You can “skip the line” at the ticket office with the help of the tour guide.

We had an amazing time with sheriff on our tour. He was very good at explaining everything and very flexible. The morning of our trip the pyramids and Sphinx was closed and so he accommodated our request to see the mosque and citadel and do our planned tour afterwards. This was a highlight of our trip. He took us by private car to all of the sites and took us to some local spots to see papyrus. Very worth the money we paid for this.
