The tour was great. The coach was clean and comfortable. Evans Evans location was easy to find and the staff were friendly and efficient.
Our guide, Sheila, was absolutely amazing! She was so knowledgeable and friendly. She gave great information and history at each site, as well as along the journey to each stop. She absolutely made the trip so special. I would definitely recommend this tour!

This was my first tour of the trip and I went because I wanted to see the Canterbury Cathedral. I was aware of the historical significance of Leeds castle, but getting in was a jumble (staff was ill organized) and it was slanted towards the period of time just before WWII, which didn’t interest me. Canterbury is a beautiful cathedral, I enjoyed that. Dover was a don’t blink or you’ll miss it sort of thing, I don’t think it should receive billing in the title unless the castle is included. Omarr, the guide, admitted that Leeds isn’t a tour he usually does, and he seemed to be a historian, but often mixed up his words, so it felt strangely scripted. Aaron, the driver, was fine going out but the trip back was akin to a barn sour horse returning to his stall. Maybe it was beyond his working hours? He drove very agressively and hit the brakes rather hard a few times, due to that. I was worried for the little cars…. Anyhow, happy to have seen Canterbury. The rest I could have done without.

Leeds and Canterbury were nice visits. Was kinda expecting a little viewing of the White Cliffs of Dover. Tour guide driver were wonderful

We ran late due to the strikes affecting the tube and the tour company was unwilling to wait a few minutes for us at the gate due “being charged a fee.” They also would not give a refund or let us join the tour if we were able to meet them at the location. We spoke to a company representative on the phone who told us to “arrive faster.”

Chrissy gave fabulous historical background throughout the tour. She was easy to understand and was very friendly and helpful.

Great tour, Chrissy and Daniel were great. Plenty of time in every stop, and Chrissy was fantastic with the comentry

Nice tour. Main regret is the limited amount of time in Canterbury. On tour all day and had only 45 minutes to eat and get to bus. At a minimum should be an hour. The guide was knowledgeable and funny.

Our Guide Ruth made this a 5 Star review! She was simple an amazing historian and we enjoyed every site visited more because of the host behind them. Leeds Castle was just beautiful and a tribute to days gone bye. Dover was interesting for its topography and Canterbury was a cute example of old world shops and winding cobblestone roads. The Cathedral is not to be missed. Loved it. Note: Dover portion of the trip is more of a drive by with a short 10 minute stop for pictures on Dover’s beach. Also: Rowan our driver was the best we’ve ever seen. Great tour!

A very good tour of Leeds Castle (Considered by many the most beautiful in England) and then Canterbury Cathedral (Do the inside tour) and then the Cliffs of Dover with Dover Castle at the top of the cliffs.
Manon was an excellent guide with great knowledge of each of the stops and was able to provide good background information.
    A very good tour.

Rowan and Maria with Evan Evans Tours were awesome! So fun and full of terrific information! Rowan was fun and easy to follow. Maria is driver extraordinaire! We learned so much!

If staying in London for a few days this is an awesome day trip packed with so many good stories about Leeds Castle, Cliffs of Dover & Canterbury. Rowan was an amazing guide & story teller. The day ran smoothly & organized. The English countryside in June is beautiful with so many flowers in bloom. Each stop was special so it was wonderful to be able to do all 3 sites in one trip. Definitely add this day trip to your itinerary.

The pick up was simple. I suggest getting there early and get in line. Sounds silly but if you are a family you will not sit together unless you are in line early. The guide asked for people to move so families could be together. We found that people won’t move. The trip was great! Kevin is funny and hospitable. Loved it all. Note- pack food. You won’t stop for lunch until about 3p. There are snacks at Leeds but not many choices.
Overall, would do it again with those two augmentations. Thanks to Kevin and Toni!!

Our tour guide Rowen (?) was tremendous. Fun, energetic story-teller who really brought the tour to life.
Good overall set of experiences between a castle, the cliffs and an English town. A well-balanced day.

  16. Melissa_H

Kevin was a Fun tour guide. Wished we had spent more time in Dover and got to walk around the cliffs of Dover and seen the castle before in Dover

Even though we had confirmed tickets and received multiple email and texts (including this review request) we were not able to do the tour because our name wasn’t on a list. The tour was overbooked and other people were not able to attend also. I am hoping my refund will post without issue but I will never use Viator or Evans Evans again.

Debra was an excellent guide, great personality and amazing historical knowledge of all the sites and everything in between. Maria was a superb driver. If you want a more relaxed tour day with great sights I highly recommend.

  19. David_T

Our guide and driver were amazing. Gave wonderful history and insights about Leeds Dover and Canterbury as well as London and other places we passed along the way. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and kind and knew how to navigate the sites even when the odd thing popped up like a BBC film crew! The coach was pristine and cool on a hot day and the ride was wonderfully smooth.

Manon was an excellent guide, full of information & helpful tips. She took great care to make sure we had the best experience possible. A situation arose w/ some other tour guests, and she handled in the upmost professional manner.
