Before stepping on the boat we where greeting with a friendly smile and warm welcome by the staff. The boat itself is what I can only did five as luxury. All the staff on board where so informative and passionate about the whales, and our experience. My elderly grandma has issues with mobility, and the staff went above and belying to cater for her and make her comfortable.
We got to experience the beautiful whales up close, and at one point they even swam under the boat, and pooped their head up to say hello. A truely amazing experience all round

This tour is operated by a family who are passionate about protecting whales. Each trip is unique. We spotted a mother and calf soon after leaving port. We drifted allowing this pod to develop a trust of us. They came in very close to the boat and seemed to relax and enjoy a safe refuge for this moment in their long journey. The calf played rolling onto her back showing us her white belly. She practised fin slapping and played along side the vessel. Mum surfaced many times allowing us to observe the incredible relationship between mother and daughter (the crew told us this was a female calf). The crew delight in sharing their in depth knowledge and understanding of these incredible mammals. I felt like we protected this mother and calf from fast boats who did not have the care and passion our Captain boldly displayed. Fabulous!

Unfortunately I ran late, the staff called to make sure that I was on my way but their main concern was that I drove safe. Happily made it just on time and the staff was the friendliest, making sure that everyone was feeling okay and taking care of the ones that got sea sick. Plus the information that you learn it’s quite nice listening and watching it in real life.

The tour was very well organized and very informative. The seas are very rough and the crew was well prepared for people having sea sickness. We managed to catch many whales in action and I’m glad we did! Highly recommended!

We went on the 10th November. It was quite cold because of the cold wind but we managed to see the whales. The commentary from the guide is quite helpful for us to understand more on the whales and what they are doing.
