Great! Sabrina was an excellent guide! She was through and very funny! Saved so much time by skipping lines to the museum! Highly recommend!

  2. Kendel_L

We really enjoyed the dome climb. This tour was as described and worth the money. Our guide was a little hard to understand but she did a good job.

  3. Franklin_D

We were very happy with our guide and she kept it fun. The climb up the dome was exhausting but worth it. Amazing views. The tour through the museum was long, crowded and had no AC.

  4. Terriann_W

    Great experience
Helpful guide and easy to understand in English.
Many steps but nice and slow
    Good value

  5. RUTH_C

Way too much, in my opinion, for one day. It was exhausting. The operator was friendly and very well informed

An amazing place and Nadia was great and attentive to us all, considering the swarms of visitors everywhere. A very physical day so just be prepared to walk a lot and with stairs. But overall just stunning.

We had a great time. Our guide, Mariana, was amazing. She made a long line go by so fast since she keep sharing information.

This is Must do Tour. Booking through Viator. Our instructions meet and time we’re bang on. We we’re met and placed in cue at the perfect and expedited time. If you go outside of booking with Viator, good luck. We had the best guide you could ask for, speaking clearly and legible English made it that much more personal. It was a full group, maybe 20 people and she was on it every step of the way. If you don’t book ahead with Viator, your wait at the gate could be 2 to 2 hours. We we’re in within 15 minutes. I would highly, highly, recommend this tour through Viator…

Yesterday, my husband and I took this tour. We knew it would be busy and it was! Our guide got us around the lines very easily, which was very helpful. She was very nice and knowledgeable. However, we felt very rushed and were very far back, and spent no time at The Pieta, something so meaningful. She barely mentioned The Transfiguration by Raphael, which we saw from across the room. We spent a great deal of time, viewing maps outside the Sistine Chapel hallway and tapestries.
In addition, the headsets for the second half of the tour did not work at all. We could not get close enough to our guide, who was ahead maneuvering through the crowds, to tell her. Our other group members said theirs kept cutting in and out as well.
This was my first trip to Italy and I was so excited to see this. I do understand that our guide did her best as far as getting our group around, but I left feeling very cheated out of possibly once in a lifetime opportunity.

Our guide Georgia did an amazing job educating us about history and art, while also negotiating the logistics of security lines and steps. It was a long day, but Georgia made the experience entertaining and as effortless as possible. The walk to the top of St. Peter’s Basilica is absolutely worth it!

Mama Sabrina was fantastic! Very clear and thorough! A native Italian who knew her history! Very pleased to have such an amazing guide and experience for our first trip to Rome and the Vatican. Wish she had been our guide for later tours! She was fantastic!

The first part of the tour was cancelled but it wasn’t the fault of the tour operator. It was communicated well to us and refund was processed easily. We went ahead with the second part of the tour which covers Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. This is an intense tour so you really need a great guide to help you navigate the vast arts (and crowds!) and Georgia was FANTASTIC! She’s so great; knowledgeable and superbly engaging! Thank you so much!

Absolutely amazing. Sandra was awesome and always in a excellent mood. Even with some rain. Warning.. a lot of steps ..

Amazing tour – climb up to the dome was worth the experience. Georgia was an excellent guide – friendly, soothing tone, great job navigating the crowd and getting the most out of our time. Considerate of the groups desires and remembered peoples names.

    Our guide Nadia was exceptional
Very knowledgeable and animated in her presentation
    Very pleasant
I could not imagine a better tour

We enjoyed our tour of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel. Our tour guide (female with curly hair..Ariana?!) was really knowledgeable and spoke excellent English so she was easy to understand. I definitely recommend getting skip the line tickets – especially in the summer heat! We walked past long lines of people looking miserable while they waited in the direct sunlight.
    Two reasons for 4/5 stars:
    1. the tour started pretty late, which resulted in it going later than scheduled. It worked out fine for us, but I wouldn’t recommend planning anything for right after the tour, just in case.
    2. Unfortunately for us, St. Peter’s Basilica was closed on short notice for an event with the Pope. Obviously this is out of anyone’s control, but this resulted in the first half of the tour being canceled (Viator was great and refunded us 50%). BUT I think it’s important to note this would be a VERY long tour if we had been able to do the full tour as originally scheduled. Ultimately, this may have been a blessing in disguise for us as we were both tired even after the just the Vatican/Sistine Chapel. However for others, I would recommend splitting up St. Peter’s Basilica and the Vatican/Sistine Chapel into two tours to save your feet and attention span – especially if this tour is scheduled for later in your trip when you might already be more fatigued!

Excellent tour! Our guide, Fabio, was knowledgeable and more importantly I could understand him completely. Would not hesitate to book with them again!

This was an awesome tour. Our guide was Solomon and she did an amazing job. It was the perfect amount of time in the Basilica and the museum. The museum is insanely crowded and best to go with a guide. I’ve traveled everywhere and couldn’t imagine managing the crowd myself. Solomon ends the tour in a perfect place that if you feel like you didn’t get enough time in the basilica you can easily head back on your own and take your time. Love the timing for everything on this tour too!
Do the Dome! The view is breathtaking.

Our guide is an art student, who is a great storyteller. So it was an amazing tour. It was exciting and educational; our kids were actually interested. Grazie mille!

It’s peek season so expect to be crowded but our guide was fantastic and got us through the crowd. It made for a great experience with wonderful information.
