I am new to snorkeling and received great help and attention from instructors. They are very skilful and attend to us with care. I had cramp and two of them came to check if I was OK. The only drawback was too crowded to accommodate 90 people on relatively small boat and the food was not very tasty.

This was a great experience. The crew was friendly and helpful and out in the water to help old “newbies” like us! The food was cooked fresh on the catamaran and was delicious. Vegan options were available. BEWARE: if you are on any kind of prescription meds other than oral contraceptives, you will not be allowed to do the introductory dive without a dive certified Queensland doctor’s note. I was disappointed as I had signed up for the dive, but the snorkeling was still fun. No refund was offered on the price difference. Viator did not put this policy in their information although Passions of Paradise said it was on their website.

I loved this excursion! The reef is amazing and the crew were pleasant at every turn. The lunch was delicious and the boat wasn’t crowded so there were plenty of places to relax inside or outside while traveling to and from the reef. Russell gave an excellent presentation on the reef which was the highlight, second only to the reef itself. I did this solo and would definitely go again if I had time.

We had a wonderful time with these guys. The staff were all fantastic and we had perfect weather. Food was good, snorkeling was incredible and it was nice to be on a somewhat smaller vessel so we didn’t feel overcrowded on board or getting in or out of the water. Great experience. We enjoyed snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef. The crew did everything they could to enhance our experience. They provided great snorkeling gear and a wet suit with a float device if we choose to use it. Also they provided a great lunch buffet with many selections.
