Thoroughly recommend this if you want to see pretty much he best of what the Daintree and Cape Tribulation has to offer in a day. Bit of a whirlwind trip with limited time for food stops, but they crammed a lot into one day. The bus was comfortable and well air conditioned, and our driver, Esther, was great fun and knowledgeable. I thought it was a great value trip.

We had the best day on the Daintree and Cape Tribulation Tour with the best tour guide ever, Stu, who was both entertaining and educational for the entire 12 hour experience

  3. Daryl_C

Would definitely highly recommend this tour, the day was very full and our tour guide (Stewart) was entertaining and good fun, he time managed the day extremely well under challenging circumstances.

What an amazing day! It’s long (12 hours) and a lot of driving but it’s all worth it when you see what Cape Tribulation & Mossman Gorge have to offer
We saw several birds & a baby croc during the boat cruise & we all enjoyed the ice cream stop at Daintree Ice Cream after lunch!
Our driver John was very knowledgeable and talked a lot about both indigenous and European history as well as the nature of the region
The highlight of the day was swimming at the gorge, the water was crystal clear & the perfect way to cool off

The guide and the tour were excellent. We had a great time and was not bored at all even thought the trip was long. Wish we had more time in Cape Tribulation in order to swim more. Finally, the ice cream was awesome!

Had a great time, saw some great things. Stu the guide was great fun and had some great stories to tell on the journey, a great plus to the company. A long day but highly recommended. The lunch was very nice as well.

Such an amazing experience!! Our tourguide was super nice and super fun too, he made sure we experience everything and meet our money’s worth! I had a blast! I love being in nature and just accepting it as it is. I would recommend other nature’s enthusiasts too. If you’re not one of those people who respects and can adjust your expectations of what you can and cannot do when your in nature this might not be for you. Because they have expectations of what and where we can do because this is a heritage place. Overall, I had a blast experience and we manage to see this huge 70 years old crocodile in the cruise which is super cool! 🤩🤩

Excellent day trip for destinations we travelled to but unfortunately I spent a lot of the long day in a bus squeezed in the middle of 5 on the back seat of the small bus and not with my partner. This bus is not designed to fit 5 passengers across the back seat.
The temperature on Tuesday was over 35 degrees. I was sitting in the centre of the back seat squeezed between two other passengers shoulder to shoulder, perspiring. The air conditioning outlets are on the sides of the bus near the windows not at the back so no air and at times the sun was on your back. There is also no springs in the back seat as it is a bench seat, not like the other individual seats on the bus, therefore a very rough ride. The other passengers either side of me (total strangers) were also uncomfortable as they asked me several times to move but there was no room to move anywhere. There was also no area for bags or backpacks so had to be carried on laps.
Recommendation is that the driver regularly rotates passengers around the bus, not first in best dressed for the whole of the trip. Also recommend booking five less passengers on this bus for it’s a long day on the bus as per this day’s schedule.
Because of this the overall impression of the day was very disappointing.

This day adventure is a ‘must’ for anyone visiting Australia for the first time. It captured spectacular views which met or exceeded my expectations. Stu was particularly entertaining and very informative. He briefed us on what to watch for and how to stay safe in the water and hinterland.

I messed up and booked for the wrong date (a month before we were actually going to be there) and was charged by Viator. When I contacted this company directly, they were so accommodating and allowed me make up the date without an additional charge.
Roger guided us throughout the day with great information and patience and made the trip memorable. Definitely recommend!!!

Jordan did an excellent job with his positive attitude and friendly manner. He made several stops on the long 11 hour day. This included Mossman Gorge, Cape Trib beach, a river cruise (we spotted a salt water crocodile) and a couple viewpoints plus lunch and ice cream. Worthwhile trip for sure but it is a lot of time in your seat as it’s a long ways from Cairns to Cape Trib.

So many memorable moments -Including the Welcome to Country smoking ceremony, swimming at Mossman Gorge, sighting crocodiles on the River cruise! Tom was an outstanding guide. Learnt heaps of new information. This was the best day out!

  18. Serrah_S

The tour was interesting and our tour guide John was fantastic. Even though we were in a bus much of the day, it didn’t really feel like it as there was lots of stopping and sight seeing. It’s easier doing a tour than doing it yourself.

  19. Adam_C

We had tour guide Jordan who was bloody fantastic! His local knowledge was second to-non and he even shared little bits of info as we were driving past things. He was a total joy and was bubbly throughout the entire day. The places we stopped at were drop dead gorgeous and the day didn’t feel rushed at all.
    HIGHLY recommend.
