The tour itself is great but I would recommend this tour to my friends but not with Wendy Tour.
This tour don’t include a visit to a long neck village. The agent included this visit & charged 300baht each.
Those of us who didn’t sign up for this long neck village were forced to wait for the conclusion of the village visit before we can head back to Chiangmai. Tour ended almost 8pm.

The temples were absolutely incredible and some of the most beautiful architecture we’ve ever seen. Our only complaint is that we wanted more information from our tour guide, we received a little information on the ride to each temple but we’re left to our own devices once we arrived. We ended up doing a bit of research on our own after, but a more in-depth explanation would have made this a 5-star review.

Good tour for the price. Lunch is very simple. They took a lot of care of us in our special needs (luggage and drop off).

Everything was great! No problems and we got back on time. MM and Oliver were great staff! It was very hot so dont forget to bring sunscreen and hats!

The most memorable part was 8 hours of pain in a cramped beat-up mini-van with a worn out bench seat traveling over Thai roads. The guide was personable enough, and technically he did speak English – about 10 words… He had a little trouble conveying time correctly. Hour and a half v. half hour, for example. In fairness, I don’t speak Thai, but then again I don’t advertise as being a bi-lingual tour guide either. Time at each stop is severly limited, about a half hour at each stop. Also, although we did not want to go to the Long Neck Karen, we were grouped with people that had selected that tour option so we wound up spending an hour going to the Karen site and waiting in the heat under a lean-to while half the tour went and visited the huts. So on a 14 hour tour that would have been more than full with just the White Temple, Blue Temple and Black House we wound up wasting an hour, including travel time, on a tour option I specifically didn’t want. Overall, I suggest taking a month sentence in a Thai prison instead of this tour. For sure – avoid this fiasco!!!

The white temple was absolutely amazing even down to the toilets.
When we went to the blue temple I think everyone was overawed with the white but I found the blue has more depth to the whole temple and to me this was just as amazing

Great day . The tour guide was lovely . Easy trip with lovely people. Hi have learnt more about Thailand and improved my knowledge about this lovely country.

  9. SUNIL_S

The temples were unique. Not seen in India or elsewhere. A must see for tourists visiting 🇹🇭 Thailand

  10. Manuel_P

The white temple and the Long Neck Karen were amazing. Great organisation and the tour guide was very friendly

  11. Lauren_D

The guides were so lovely and told us a lot about all the places we were visiting, we learned a lot. The bus was very comfortable and air conditioned, we were both able to nap on the journey. There were stop offs each way for snacks and a toilet break.
The temples and museum are breathtaking and well worth a visit. Simply stunning, must be seen to be believed!

  12. Meryem_C

The beautiful white temple, the villages we visited, and the cute shops! The tour guide was also very nice.

  13. Snehamay_B

The guide was very nice. My issues are:
The van is too tightly packed for such a long journey. I am medium height average build person and had no space to move.
Also, the lunch is the worst Thai food i had in my life and we are visiting Thailand for more than 40 years.
    Everything else was very good.

  14. Ais_L

The white wat was extraordinary and interacting with others on the bus and at mealtime was also valuable

  15. Ernesta_B

The tour guide and the driver where nice. However the whole tour felt like most sites were created for toursim (except for blue temple). Some may love it but it’s not a historical tour at all.
Our van was super cramped with super small seats, with almost no room for legs and I’m not a tall person. Everyone on the tour felt a bit broken after a long trip. (Around 3h trip each way. In comparison we had another tour at Chiang Mai that did not have this problem at all
Overall, but we did not enjoy this tour much, but it’s only our opinion.

The white and blue temples are stunning (and black house quite interesting) however it is worth noting that the white temple is not actually a religious temple, but an elaborate attraction built quite recently.
The trip for us included 7 hrs in a fairly old mini-van which was not very comfortable (our seats actually rocked back and forward which was rather disconcerting). The tour guide was not very interactive on the journey and only really engaged when we were near the attractions. We were only offered water once in the van and the lunch was appalling, by far the worst food we ate in our 2 weeks in Thailand. So all in all worthwhile doing, but could be greatly improved.

Great time at the white and blue temple’s stunning structures well worth the 3 hrs drive but overall great day

  18. Andrew_S

We took this trip the day after returning from a three day hiking trek, and it was the perfect day to spend between 6-8 hours in a van. Besides the long drive between Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai (windy and mountainous), the day was great. The White Temple and Blue Temple are beautiful in their own ways and both worth seeing. The Black House Museum is very unique, but a nice setting for an art museum. Only downside is the ratio of time at the temples to time in the car, but we knew that going in.

  19. michelle_c

Great tour especially due to the low price. Good amount of time at all the temples. Would recommend.

Tour delivers on what it says you will see. Just know it is a long day with a lot of driving. Also other reviews on the transportation are accurate. Not the best ride but everything worked out.
