I never knew I could learn so much history in such a short amount of time. From Abu Simbel to Luxor, we experienced a thorough timeline of Ancient Egyptian history. Our guide, Barry, made sure that we left with a new understanding and appreciation of ancient and modern Egyptian culture. He was very informative and we left feeling like family. Barry and Travel Egypt consistently made sure our trip was smooth sailing – literally! Every step of the way, they made sure we were getting the best experience possible.

Gabriel was a very informative and kind tour guide. He made sure we accommodated and safe. Gabriel is knowledgeable about the history of Egypt and the local scene. We enjoyed having him as our guide.
The website on which we booked the tour, however, showed a different boat than the one we ended up taking. Also some of the tours were labeled as “free admission” but this was incorrect. Other than that, we had a good time.

Osama, our guide was fantastic. He was so knowledgeable and kept the tour fun. The boat was fine and as expected for the price.

Our Guide Osama made the trip what it was! We nearly got the main guide Ale who was abrupt and we found rude calling both the English couple and us Americans repeatedly without even asking where we were from. He just spoke never listened like on autopilot. OSAMA WAS THE LEGEND I can’t rave about this man enough. He was knowledgeable helpful kind and welcoming along with great banter and heaps of tips.
The boat was great with great food however people who don’t even really help you are constantly out for tips ( we tip well if you actually served us) unfortunately after we personally tipped the people we wanted to a lot of the boats service just nose dived with dirty looks.
A special shout to yussef the waiter who made us feel welcome and help us with everything.

Our tour guide Ayman was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! He was the highlight of our trip. The staff on the boat were so kind and attentive. The experience seeing the views from the Nile was incredible. Excellent service and tours, you will never forget the sights you get to see- there are a lot of them!
Thanks Alaadine for your help with this cruise!

The tour guide was nothing but helpful and went the extra mile just to make me feel comfortable, he definitely made the experience better, in general, everybody from the agency was great. The cruise itself was good and meals were provided, the only problem was leaving the cruise since there were always people trying to sell you things but it’s the same everywhere. There were some minor issues with some people from the cruise but it wasn’t much tho. Be aware that extra cost for entries/transport can make the experience more expensive than you expect but still a good price/quality relationship.

I arrived in Aswan at around 10AM Wednesday and immediately explored Aswan, including the Aswan Dam, and the Philae Temple, and the Nubian villages along the Nile. The following Day I woke up early to travel to Abu Simbel by car for a rly exciting visit there before the cruise left that afternoon. We arrived at Kom Ombo that night and continued the third day to Edfu. There was a lot of night life on the cruise, and it was really fun to spend time with the others with me who were close to my age. The final day I spent in Luxor. From the monuments to an incredible hot air balloon ride, everything was amazing and I had a few stops at some shops along the way as well.
Abu Simbel, hot air balloon, and tickets aren’t included but everything is worth it!

What made our experience wonderful was the staff plus a guide.
The boat was clean ( even though certain bathrooms should be renovated) the food was good.
Visits , on the other hands, not enjoyable. At each visit there were many, many ships ( sometimes 10/11) at the same sites. Normally that caused an enormous crowd. Plus we had 50 min or an hour for a guided tour. We were rushed from one point of the temple to the other. And we so much noise and watching where to go it was not a pleasant experience.
On the other hand the tour we had the first day when our guide Karram ( sorry if I misspelled it) picked us up was more relaxed, thorough and enjoyable.
Overall, sailing on the Nile was wonderful , but tours not really.

Thank you to our guide, Gad Ali, a fan of Egypt and his story. We discovered many things thanks to him. He facilitated our stay on and off the boat during the visit. I truly recommend him.
