For our tuk tuk tour we had Helene as our guide. She was wonderful! We covered a lot of ground so I would advise visitors to do this at the beginning of their stay. Then they can narrow down specific points of interest to return to for spending more time….like Alfama!!

Just as the title suggests, this is a true 4 hour+ tour of Lisbon taking in the remarkable sights, sounds and even smells (the bakery!).
Our tour guide (Ali) was a very clear speaking and incredibly knowledgeable young man who is truly proud of his city and the 900 years of history that it beholds.
Doing this tour early in our stay was a great idea as it gave us a good feel for the geography of the city which then allowed us to know our way around and revisit some parts in more detail (eg the once burnt out church of St Dominic is well worth seeing) and the only house to survive the earthquake of 1755. Ali also gave us some good recommendations for places to eat and drink etc.
All in all a fabulous way to see the sites in a comfortable and stress free manner. Do it before you do anything else. It would be impossible to find a better way of seeing Lisbon.

I did this the morning after I arrived in Lisbon and I highly recommend you do the same! It was a great way to see Lisbon and get an overview. My guide, Ali, picked me up from my hotel and was super knowledgeable and attentive during the whole trip. The personal tour of Pasteis de Belem was a highlight – and those warm custard tarts are literally the best in the city, hands down!! It was also great to get recommendations from Ali for the rest of my time in Lisbon, from places to eat, places to listen to Fado, etc… he was a wealth of information. I had never done a Tuk Tuk tour in a city before but this was an amazing way to see Lisbon!

After 30 years, we came to visit Portugal to rekindle our old memories. We were fortunate to take the TUK-Tuk Tour with Reuben. He is the best tour guide for seeing Lisbon and surroundings. He has such pleasant qualities that makes you feel that your best friend is taking you to see Lisbon. His knowledge of each and every place in Lisbon (Alfama, Belem, Baixa, etc) is outstanding. I am talking about the historical and modern day information about each place is indeed remarkable. He allowed us to spend quality time in each place we stopped. He allowed us to personalize the areas we wanted to visit(this included the outstanding ice cream shop, THE famous bakery in Belem, and authentic Portuguese liquor tasting shop). We felt so comfortable with him taking us around. I wish we stayed a few extra days to have him take us to more places such as the FADO place and the unique shopping area. Hopefully next time. Reuben is the best tour guide ever. He made this trip a very memorable one. God bless him and this great nation.

Hi all. If you are visiting Lisbon, to get a better perspective of what the area has to offer and be able to jump out to explore further on foot, I highly recommend the 4 hour/ Half Day Tuktuk route. We had 5 take the tuktuk all over the city stopping at key places, couple that with a highly knowledgeable tour guide, made the day a special one. Miguel was top-notch, had fun with us, could speak English fluently, and sent links to other recommended places to shop and restaurants to eat. At the Belem pastry shop, he was able to park, got us bypassing the lineup outside so we could purchase some amazing treats and continue on our tour.
