Mehru was terrific! Highly recommend her and this tour. Learned so much and the kids we very entertained.
Linda_G –
Our guide was knowledgeable and interesting. She kept us in the shade for the entire day when it was 101° outside. She kept the kids thoroughly interested and engaged by asking them specific questions about what they had just seen. Our entire group ranging from age 5 to 72 would give our guide five stars.
Vanessa_H –
Lucy was an animated and highly knowledgeable tour guide. She brought lots of stories to life for our children, keeping them engaged and excited throughout the tour. I would highly recommend this tour!
Jon_G –
An excellent tour. Very informative and great storytelling by our guide Aaron. My 10 year old daughter was fascinated by the history and the bling!
Michael_K –
Our guide Lucy was fantastic! Extremely knowledge, friendly, ready with an exciting story and bits of history. Also very flexible as we were freezing we went into the cafe to warm up and she continued the history lesson from there.
Jessica_C –
Hamish was so great! He was funny and knowledgeable and kept our 6 and 9 year old engaged. They said it was one of the best parts of the trip. He even helped us find a taxi when it was over.
Alexandra_W –
Our family had a great time with Alexandra. She was knowledgeable, patient and enthusiastic. My 9 and 11 year olds had a great time too! Thank you for a wonderful tour! Strongly recommend.
Heather_S –
Lucy was our family tour guide for The Tower of London and she was fantastic! She was so knowledgeable and made the entire 3 hours interesting for all ages (7 year old, 14 year old and 2 adults). I highly recommend the tour and Lucy as your guide! It was truly the highlight of our trip!
Sandeep_P –
Lucy texted us the night before to answer any questions we had. She had a tough audience with my shy 7.5 year old twin boys, however she did a brilliant job of keeping both the kids and us (mom and dad) thoroughly engaged and entertained. The boys were talking about their Tower of London trip non stop. Lucy got them excited and told great stories for them which we were able to learn more about after we got home and investigated even more. We saw what we needed to and for our family this would’ve been difficult to do on our own. For example, she went into detail about the Crown Jewels as we were waiting in line so when we went inside we really knew and understood what we were looking at. The kids were super excited to see them when they otherwise may not have been. I highly recommend.

Our guid Mehru was the best guide – she was such a wealth of knowledge and catered the tour to both of our kids (10 & 8) and the adults as well. She was so friendly & kind and we couldn’t recommend this tour more to anyone! The perfect way to spend your time and learn a lot about the history of the tower and english royals.
Jon_G –
Dominic was awesome. Not only did he know every angle of the Tower of London but he told their stories in such a way that have had my kids 6 and 8 talking non stop about so many unique hidden treasures. We saw the highlights mostly per our request as first timers but we saw them in a way that felt driven by our own (and especially our kids curiosity) in a way I don’t think self or group guided tours would allow. He also made it all super easy – including accommodating a tight schedule a run through Tower Bridge.
This a great tour worth every cent.

Lucy our guide was wonderful she enable us the enjoy the experience and was extremely age appropriate
Ingrid_A –
The stories our guide shared about the tower brought it all to life. And of course the Crown Jewels.
Cynthia_T –
Hamish was great with the kids, ranging from 16 to 6 years old. He was knowledgeable and very patient. Perhaps in the future an eye spie game would keep the kids a little more engaged, but overall we really enjoyed the tour! Thanks Hamish!

We used Viator for a private tour of the Tower of London. Alexandra was the best tour guide. She was very informative (even on things outside of the Tower of London) yet kept it fun and interesting for our 7 and 8 year olds. It was one of the best things we did on our trip to London and I wouldn’t hesitate to use Viator again.
Joshua_T –
Our tour guide Alex is amazing! She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and so great with the kids. She is a master storyteller!
Meg_H –
We had a great family tour with our guide Ben! Communication prior to the tour was helpful when we ran a few minutes behind! We knew exactly where to meet him thanks to a photo he sent ahead of time. The morning tour was most efficient to be able to see the Crown Jewels without waiting in long lines, which worked out well for our young kids (3,6,10). The stories were engaging and our kids said it was one of the best parts of our London trip! Would highly recommend! One thing we didn’t realize was the inability to bring a stroller around most of the tower – you can bring it in, but then have to park it outside the main part which made it a little tricky to keep the 3 year old from being a distraction to the stories!
Linda_F –
I came with my 7yo to London for spring break and enjoyed our private tour with Ben. He was very patient and attentive, and was super nice to boot! Kept my 7yo engaged throughout the tour. We learned a lot the Tower of London, and Ben even waited in the long crown jewels line for us while we queued in the almost as long line for ice cream!
Caroline_P –
Our guide Mila was fantastic. She kept our 3 children (6, 8 and 12) engaged and we learnt a lot too. If you want a comprehensive tour then this is it!
Jenny_M –
Very much enjoyed our time with Tim! I told him seeing the Crown Jewels was a high priority for me, so we hightailed it there to avoid the long line later on. Tim knew SO much information and told us lots of interesting facts and stories. He even gave us a great recommendation for lunch and walked us there after the tour was over.
