Hayley, our tour operator, was wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful time seeing the Adelaide Hills etc and the lunch on the River Murray paddlesteamer was awesome. Will definitely use them again.

It was a really pleasant experience to see the River Murray and to enjoy the restful nature of river boat travel. The crew was very efficient and attentive. The lunch was well cooked and tasty. The Leather shop in Hahndorf with its huge range of products (and is uneven floor due to the age of the building) was fun. Visiting The Mount Lofty summit was an added bonus.

Our driver Robert was a knowledgeable driver and guide. The river cruise was the best part of the tour with a nice lunch.
Only comment is that I feel that every passenger on the bus should be offered a bottle of water during the trip.

Our driver Paul from CP Tours and Charters was a fantastic guide. He told us plenty about the interesting history of the early settlers in Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills, plus his fun personality helped create a friendly group of bus passengers. The cruise was great too – relaxing occasional commentary about the area. Lunch was delicious with a broad menu of tasty meals to choose from.

Roy the driver was friendly and informative, beautiful drive through Adelaide Hills, stopping at Mt Lofty (outstanding views to Adelaide and the coast!), Beerenberg (learning some history of the German heritage and enjoying a yummy cheesecake on a stick), Hahndorf. Loved the cruise (despite the rainy day was able to spend a lot of time outside seeing the river life), the food was delicious (recommend the beer battered fish & chips & apple crumble!). Sound system had some problems on the day so didn’t hear all of the history. Don’t miss: looking out one of the windows and watching the paddle wheel in action; the Murray Darling Basin Wall map from 1902 showing heaps of detail and future plans; the framed display of knots.
