Thank you for a wonderful tour, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was a very good value tour and we saw a lot. Lots of fun and informative, our tour guide Boom was amazing!!

Our guide, Sirirat (Susie) was absolutely first rate. She taught us so many things about Thailand. Its culture and people, took lots of pictures of us, and looked out for our safety and comfort. Our driver. Pol, not only is an excellent driver, he kept us supplied with icy cold water and freezing washcloths that were lifesavers in the heat.
The Railway Market and the Floating Market are colorful, exciting, and well worth seeing as long as crowds don’t bother you.
PiaDina_M –
Great to experience both the Railway Market and the Floating Market
TumTum is an excellent tourguide…she is funny and gives enough information on each places…she also took lovely photos..
Kathryn_G –
We had Boom as our tour guide and was incredible . Added a great surprise to the tour which was fantastic . Boom has a great sense of humor and made the experience so much more enjoyable and fun.
Matthew_N –

It has been an amazing experience. From the pick up to drop off and everything in between was absolutely an experience. Thanks to Kiwi (tour guide) and Big Guy (driver) for an amazing tour! It’s a whole day event and with good company the time went by. Nothing was rushed. Everything was on schedule.
Danny_O –
Overall the trip was very good. However, the AC in the car was not good and it was very hot day. I would probably picked another trip instead.

Our guide was very knowledgeable with a good grasp of English.
Our driver was very good but had very little if any English as he didn’t speak with us.
Our train ride and then walk through the market along the rail tracks was a memorable experience.
We next headed to the floating market where we got into a paddle canoe. We travelled along the canal and had a chance to purchase goods in the floating market.
We even had time for lunch (not included).
We did have a bathroom break on our way there at a very clean rest stop. We had enough time to purchase coffee and snacks.
Note that the travel to the train station is 1-1/2 hrs and the ride back at the end was over 2 hrs.
Hotel Pick up was at 8 am and drop off was 3:30 pm but at MKC shopping plaza
Note you will need to find your own way back to your hotel but you might be able to pay extra, just ask.
Thanks to our guide Kwan and also to our driver for the cold water half way through our trip.
NOTE: spend the 150 Baht for the souvenir photo mounted in a frame. Great memories for a reasonable price

It was incredible to watch the train squeeze through the market while we were on it and off it!! Then eating a delicious meal and floating through the market made the day a relaxing and delightful experience!!

This are definitely two must does!! Really enjoyed this excursion and would definitely recommend it.

Our tour guide, Sara, was phenomenal!! Not only did she provide some amazingly interesting information regarding the places we visited as well as Thailand in general, but she also anticipate all our needs in stopping at clean bathrooms. Her English was very good, and she was always very clear about what to expect and instructions to avoid getting lost. This was such an amazing experience and Sara made it absolutely unforgettable! The driver, I did not catch his name, was also great. The car was very clean and he was an excellent driver!

The train market was truly a unique experience, but I was a bit underwhelmed by the floating market. I did not realize how far away the destinations were, 1 hour to the train market and 2 hours back from the floating market. I wouldn’t make this tour a top priority if you are trying to fit a lot into a short period of time, but the train was a super cool experience. To get the full experience of the floating market, I think you need to go on the weekend.

I can definitly recommend this Trip. It was interesting to See the different Marktes located Outside of Bangkok. My German Tpur Guide Kann was very Kind and a Good German speaker. I was lucky to be the only German guy, so i was alone and the Guide could give ne his Full attention.

Fantastic tour. A must do unique Asian experience. Outstanding value. Our guide and driver were top notch.

Our guide was Tammy and she was awesome! She managed to make the hour long drive out of Bangkok fun by telling us about Thai culture with a bit of humor thrown in. We stopped at a rest station on the way for 20 mins for a bathroom/coffee stop, so no need to worry if you forgot breakfast beforehand! They also gave us a water for the trip.
We went to the railway station first, where we learned a bit about salt farming before catching the train into the market. After getting to the Railway market we had 30 minutes of free time to shop and watch the next train come through. There’s a cute cafe right at the beginning which has great fruit smoothies and offers excellent seating to watch the train come through.
Next we went to the floating market, where we had 45 minutes of free time. Tammy pointed out a good restaurant for lunch that we tried and it was good. After we went in a boat around the market, which was interesting – see if you can spot an Asian water monitor (big lizard)!
After the floating market we made our way back to Bangkok (took about an hour, traffic wasn’t bad for a Tuesday). In the city, Tammy pointed out other destinations we should try and see during our trip. We were dropped off at MBK mall, which was perfect.
Overall, excellent value for the experience. I wished we’d had more free time in each market but my friend disagrees. Definitely would recommend taking this tour while visiting Bangkok.

Our guide, Oi and driver, Tanom were absolutely wonderful. They feel like family! The railroad market and floating market are definitely a must see!! We had such an incredible day.

Firstly, a shoutout to our amazing tour guide Kiwi and our bus driver Mango!!! Kiwi did an excellent job explaining everything and making sure we got to have the best experience possible! Very engaging and entertaining! You can tell when someone truly enjoys what they are doing. This is not a tourist scam trip, it is genuinely a great experience! Kiwi will tell you when something is actually worth it or not. Kiwi really knows her stuff. Give that lady a raise!!! Show up at the meeting location early and you can have a great breakfast right there along the river before the trip starts. The railway market was truly an outstanding experience! Once in a lifetime moment! Crazy to see how perfectly lined up and efficient everything is. The floating market was spectacular!!! The tour has by far been the best tour trips I have ever taken! I would do it again!

Very rushed! Not even 5 minutes at railway market! No chance to shop or even look at stalls.. floating market the same, straight onto boat, told not to buy from canal side stall holders and told where to eat. Again no chance to look round market. Long day for very little experience!!
Nicky_B –
Whole day was planned and organised.
Sara our tour guide was 5 star! She was funny, friendly. She shared cultural knowledge and top tips whilst we arrived at each market.
We preferred the floating market but rail Market also a must see
Alaina_S –
Awesome trip! Even with the traffic the timing was perfect. Got there as soon as the train was leaving and then got to walk the whole market- truly awesome sight. The floating market having an included boat tour was a great experience as well. Thank you to our guide Nati for answering all our questions and giving such good information! Would recommend 100%
Anita_S –
We had a fantastic day. Our guide Kiwi was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. The Meikong train and market was a very unique experience. The transport was comfortable and well organised. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.
Ethan_H –
Great tour, great guide and thoroughly enjoyable. Although you will spend a large amount of the day in a minibus driving between the markets.
Tina_P –
This was a last minute booking for me which never happens because I like having everything planned out in advance but after doing the Bangkok tour with this same company I couldn’t resist. T was our guide and he was great! Although these markets are a little far it was definitely worth it to visit. I loved how well everything was explained to us so that we always knew what was going on. Book this tour!
Kym_R –
Quite a remarkable experience, good to see the old parts of Bangkok & how the people of this area make their living. Would recommend this tour to anyone wanting something out of the ordinary.
Clinton_G –
The bus ride to the markets was comfortable and air conditioned. The guide communicated the details well and made sure we had information about where to meet at certain times. We also got good tips about the best time to eat to avoid higher prices at certain spots on the market tours.
The railway market itself is amazing. I don’t know how they do it, but I’m very glad I saw it for myself. It was a one-of-a-kind experience.
Riya_B –
If you are thinking about doing this tour, just do it! Seriously one of the best tours I’ve done. The railway market was not what I expected at all but the highlight of the tour was the floating market. I can’t begin to describe the feeling of sitting in a wooden boat, floating through a river in Thailand, looking at all the different stalls. Once you are finished with the floating market, there is about an hour (maybe less) for lunch. I highly recommend checking out the food stalls. The food was amazing and it was so fun to people watch. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you are lucky enough to have Kwan as your tour guide. She will go above and beyond for you!
