The cruise was a first and I wasn’t expecting an actual cruise ship but it was.
Highlights:
1. Ghada the brilliant tour guide – she knew the history, dates, information about the pharaohs/kings/timelines so it really was fascinating so if you can, request her specifically.
2. The buffet meals – vast variety to suit everyone but it’s not local cuisine but more European based foods
3. The sun deck with lots of seats and sun loungers either in the sun or shade
4. The sailing along the Nile – stunning with changing landscapes, wildlife and colourful characters in rowing boats
Lowlights:
1. Drinks not included – not even water so take plenty with you as the cost on board is sky high
2. A couple of very early starts (4-4.30am) so you miss the breakfast buffet for most of the trip
3. Factor in the amount to tip – it’s not a percentage but sometimes a rate that is expected but you can’t get away from it
4. The begging and being hassled to buy things especially if you are Caucasian
Saying that, the cruise is a must to enjoy the Nile and experience Egypt even if there are some lowlights.

Grosse partie anarque…. Pas de tour en mongolfière car il y avait soit disant du vent alors que non…..De plus toutes visites étaient payantes alors qu’à l’origine elles sont inclues dans le prix…….Et beaucoup trop de monde et de bateaux en même temps.

クルーズしながら観光地巡りができるので、初めての海外旅行等で個別でチャーターをするのに不安な人にはおすすめ。
お土産ショップ等もツアーに組み込まれてしまっているため、観光地をゆっくり回りたい人にはあまりおすすめできません。
食事もクルーズ船に付いてますが、毎回同じようなメニュー。現地の食事を楽しみたい人には不向き。
