    I was able to skip the ticket line and walk right in! When we left, the line was looking! Definitely go early and purchase tickets ahead.

    I loved the castle and the access we were given to it. My only complaint was with the audio program. This is a personal opinion, but would have preferred some information on the actual construction, instead of all of it being about the history of the people.

    We purchased these tickets primarily for the skip the line feature, which saved us probably an hour looking at the line to purchase tickets when we arrived. So that part was great. The audio tour was just ok.

    Was required to pay for a guided tour and it indicated I could arrive anytime. I arrived for 930am but found out the guided tour was at 1130am. When purchasing the ticket it was not indicated that the guided tour did not start till 1130am. I ended up touring the castle on my own which was fine but was required to pay for a guided tour. That disappointed me.

    The ticketing experience with Headout was seamless. Highly recommend giving yourself sufficient time at the castle to appreciate it and visit the museum. There is a ‘bar’ on site — treat yourself to a cocktail and a sunset view of Lisbon from the wall of the castle and then wander down through Alfama and soak up the atmosphere.
