Our 3 day tour of the Highlands was spectacular! Our guide Alex was a perfect Scotsman, adding charm, wit and SO much history to the trip.
The trip is chock full of stops and even added little pleasures you will remember for a lifetime.
We cannot say enough about this company and guide Alex.
Tips for travel: be very flexible and kind- remember it’s all about the journey, not the destination.
We relied on the highland tours to book our accommodations and we’re pleasantly surprised that it was a quaint B&B. Alex dropped us off right in front and made sure we had no issues with check in.
The tour is best when everyone stays prompt and on time, so be mindful and thoughtful each time you arrive and depart destinations. Plenty of bathroom breaks and tasty stops on the way.

This trip was wonderful because of the guide Graham. He gave us quit time to rest as well as some music and history. I stayed on a very nice B&B. This tour is quite awhile on the bus. Graham took us to really nice places and added stopes along the way to make this a great tour. If you want to stick to it itinerary by the letter then this isn’t for you. If you want to see the highlands and skye in a nutshell this is for you. You spend 5-30 minutes at each site. It was a great tour. Usually it’s on a big bus but we got a small minibus which made the tour much more personal. I would probably advise taking a friend on this tour it can be a bit lonely in the evening because you get to the accommodations around 18:00. The rest of the night is for you alone.

Pure magic! The trip was wonderful from start to finish. Alex was a great guide, he really kept it fun. He was also a great, safe driver on the twisty roads. My B&B in Inverness was amazing. Skye was even more beautiful than I’d imagined. Thanks for a wonderful tour

Amazing trip! 3 days of pure delight with a wonderful group of people and funny and knowledgeable Maj from Highland Experience! Beautiful country, out-of-this-world landscapes and soul enriching history and tradition! Thank you Scotland😊

the nature was amazing and the tour guide was excellent and extremely knowledgable and patient with the elderly people on the trip. He also handled graciously and effectively an awkward situation which occurred between a Ukrainian emigre family and an elderly Russian woman that involved the Russian woman who was making unpleasant comments to the Ukrainian family. He should be commended for how he defused this situation. He was efficient and the places he took the group were interesting and excellent

We had an amazing time exploring the highlands. Some attractions were closed due to the weather and off season but overall we had a very good time.
JOHN_P –
Guide Iain and Driver John were excellent; enthusiastic, entertaining and knowledgeable. The Highlands are barren in early Spring and point clearly to the rugged heart and blood of the Highlander. Using Inverness as the 2-night stay is not optimum. Inverness adds 6 – 7 hours of total travel time. Vacationers are weary and loose enthusiasm. Driver safety is impacted, especially in dark and rain conditions. Use Portree or some nearby location for the 2-night stay.

Huge miscommunication from the agent’s end led us to cancel the tour a day before leading to a substantial loss of money and time.

I felt every day our guide, Steve B, encouraged us to get the most out of this experience, he would say ” we are going on a wee adventure” and take us to the most beautiful parts of this amazing country. Totally recommend this tour.

The tour went by quickly, but when I reflect on how much we did each day, I can hardly believe it! There were a variety of stops – truly something for everyone. Brodie was knowledgeable and entertaining.

We had a wonderful three day trip. Graham, our guide, was fantastic. He took great care of us. He provided excellent commentary along the way pointing out and explaining various points of interest. We had ample stops along the way. The accommodation in Inverness was well located, clean with a good breakfast.
I can highly recommend this trip!

Great 3 day trip!! We saw, did & visited a lot! It’s a lot of driving and hoping on & off but it’s the only way to see ALL of these sites in just 3 days. Madge is a gentle giant and I’m sad now that I realize I didn’t get a photo of him. He very informative, friendly & funny. There were couples, groups & some solos like me. The B&B we stayed at was awesome, although it’s cute & quaint like a B&B is more like a tiny hotel. Rooms had private bathrooms which is the most important to me when staying at a B&B. Breakfast was simple but good & it can get busy with how many rooms they have. The bus was smaller with no bathrooms but we stopped plenty of times for breaks & food. See you guys next time!

Isle of Skye. The Fairy Pools. The Quiraing views. Very disappointed in Day 1. Came all this way from Australia to see Culloden but felt very rushed. Murrey was cranky and funny. Driving very fast. Seats very uncomfortable. Maybe 2 star rating.
Marguerita_M –
Moray was an Amazing tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the sites we visited. He has a great sense of humor which made the tour fun. The group was small enough so we got plenty of attention. The B&B’s were cute and clean. Moray was knowledgeable on great places to eat and have a few drinks in. I would do this tour again and any others this company has to offer!!

Eddie our driver and guide was wonderful. This tour was a good way to get a quick taste of Skye and the Highlands. It was a LOT of driving with brief stops at each location. If you are looking to do some hiking this is not the tour for you. Having said that we now know where we’d go back and spend more time at.
The hotel accommodations in Inverness we clean and comfortable. An added plus was the concert in the park across the street. Red Hot Chili Pipers were there.
Highly recommend making reservations for one of the many restaurants in Inverness on Sunday the town was lively and busy. To be safe 7:45 pm reservations we ate at Encore great food and entertainment.

We had the best tour guide there is! Chris is fantastic! Not only is he chock full of history and information about the highlands and Scotland he is also unbelievably attentive with his guests. We traveled as a family of 5 and each one of us had a memorable experience ranging in ages 19 to 56. This is our first time in Scotland let alone our first time in the Highlands. Not only would we recommend this fantastic 3 day tour but we recommend asking for Chris. BY the way…HE IS A GREAT DRIVER.
